Hi Everyone, I have a strange situation in my company, that a delegete cannot create meetings on behalf of the delegator. There are permisisons set to Editor under Outlook -> Account Settings -> Delegate Access. Also Delegated access set under Skype for business -> Tools -> Options -> Call forwarding -> Edit my delegate members Skype client policy under the user exists has a setting "EnableExchangeDelegateSync = True" Delegator has signed out from Skype and signed back in to confirm the access, but when the delegate tries to create a meeting on Delegator calendar gets a message, that permissions are denied. Do you have any ideas what else can be missing? I have a lot of other users setup the same way and they are working as expected, except the one that I am describing here. Any tips and tricks what else can be done are highly welcome!Solved64KViews1like17CommentsPSTN calls drop with-in 15 - 30 mins with Audiocodes SBC
Hi Community, Recently, I have come across a scenario worth sharing. PSTN calls drops after 15 mins or 30 mins with Audio Codes SBC or Gateway. This can be related or occur due to numerous reason, however if everything is in place (Network to Configuration) and still the call fails, then you can try the below and if it makes the difference. User makes PSTN call > the flow and connectivity is established > after 15 or 30 mins you see BYE message generated resulting in call drop. changing/modifying the "RTCPActiveCalls" and "EnableSessionTimer" may help or simple does't make any difference. Upon isolation, found that issue is mostly triggered due to a setting in Audio Codes S.B.C "Reset SRTP Upon Re-Key" is enabled (usually disabled by default) By going in to the IP profiles > disabling the setting in AudioCodes the issue was resolved and calls no longer were dropped. P.S - This solution may or may not help you (no harm in trying), But its best recommended to contact support and take assistance if needed 🙂11KViews0likes3CommentsSkye for Business App on IOS and Android Cert based Authentication to Exchange
Our Company policy dictates that we must lock down our exchange with 2 factor authentication. So we force a pin number to our devices and configure exchange active sync to authenticate via a user certificate (Certificate based authentication). Currently there are no options within the skype for business app to connect to exchange using a certifcate. So on launching the application we are prompted with the message (We cant connect to your exchange please try again later). We can connect to Exchange using certificates for email on the devices using the inbuilt stock email apps. Q) Are there any plans to implement certificate based authentication for exchange within the skype for business app ?Solved6.8KViews3likes18CommentsWhat is a Microsoft MVP?
The Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) is awarded to exceptional, independent community leaders who share their passion, technical expertise, and real-world knowledge of Microsoft Products with others. In the Microsoft Technical Community, you can identify an MVP by noticing the green ring around their avatar or looking in their profile. The Skype for Business Team values our Skype for Business MVPs immensely and appreciate the contributions of the almost 100 individuals who contribute to sharing Skype for Business with all of us through blogs, papers, forum answers, event representation, acting as public speakers, and social presence. I've started an MVP spotlight within the SfB Blog to recognize the Skype for Business MVPs in our community so we can get to know them a bit. This month, you'll see a spotlight on Deleted. Check it out & say hello. And, if you'd like more information on the MVP program, visit mvp.microsoft.com. Transferring calls to a Sfb user, when received from a call queue for hybrid users (PSTN on prem), is not working since this week. Anyone experiencing this behavior? "The call couldn't be transferred. Call was no transferred because there was a problem with the calling service" Calling directly SIP user- transferring works. I'm am fully online with PSTN and DID from MS and transferring from the call queue is working for me, this behavior is only for users who have DID and PSTN on prem. Originally to act as a producer in the Broadcast facility one had to be preselected as a producer by the meeting creator. That has now gone away, and any inner meeting participant can be a producer and control what gets broadcast to the wider audience in the "outer meeting". I get why they have done that from an ease of user adoption point of view. However, I can see situations where that would make me nervous. I major conference and an external speaker who may simply not be very computer savy could seriously mess up the results. As it currently is seems a sensible default to me but a meeting creator's switch to pre specify producers would be sensible. Also Iwonder whether there are any API's or SDK's or similar interfaces which will expose the producer controls to third party software and even hardware suppliers on the way - If I was using it a lot the ability to have a physical button for camera selection etc woud be very attractive and I could also see that being used with other camer controls such as pan, tilt, zoom etc. A Skype for Business professional producers panel would be an awsome addition.2.1KViews0likes3CommentsWe invite you to become a Skype for Business guest blogger!
