3 TopicsDeclining/Proposing New Meeting Times for Meetings Managed via Teams Channel Calendar
I would like to begin using a Calendar within a Teams Channel to manage all the various team and sub-team meetings for the project that I'm running. The intent is to centralize all meetings, assign multiple organizers, capture recordings in a one location and place all agendas, notes and follow up items in *one* place. However, I've noticed some weirdness as there doesn't seem to be the ability to gracefully decline a meeting or propose and alternate time. I'm assuming that the issue at hand may be that I don't have access to Exchange account that actually owns the Team. When I look at the invite the Organizer is listed as [Active Directory Name] as opposed to me. I understand that. Do I then simply need access to the mailbox for the AD group so that I can see the declines & proposed time changes?2.2KViews0likes3CommentsICS Meeting invite is added to Outlook App on Mac, but no acceptance options given to User
Hi Tech Folks, Mac Users receive .ics calendar invites via email from other users using Outlook. When they right-click and open the .ics file via Outlook App, it opens and can be added to their calendar without a problem. But there are not given an option to Accept/Reject the invite and sender does not get a confirmation. So no notification goes to meeting Host/Organizer/Sender. Question: How can this be fixed? How User can send the response and Organizer get notified? Thanks, Ali P.s: .ics file is working fine in Outlook Desktop app in Windows3.4KViews0likes2CommentsIssue with Teams Calendar recurring meeting after I changed my Timezone (noticed it was wrong)
I have been given a new laptop, and after I signed in and set all my recurring meetings (lessons since I am a teacher), I noticed that the desktop time zone was set incorrectly, so I fixed it to +1 time zone. However this seems to have caused issues on my Teams Calendar as now all the recurring meetings are incorrect, but when I go into edit reoccurrence, the time is correct. I verified that my office 365 outlook has the correct time zone. Cleared Teams Cache. Logged out and back in on teams. nothing solved the issue. Do I need to delete all occurrences and create them from start or is there a way to fix this?1.7KViews0likes0Comments
