Hi, I have had a MS Booking Page for quite some time now, with 50+ bookings per day with 10-15 staff members. I just noticed today when I logged in, I was unable to do any admin tasks, such as change booking times or change staff services. On closer inspection, I notice that my role has been changed to "Guest"!! Clearly as the person who set up the bookings site, I cannot be a guest. All the other staff members are set to Administrators, but when I asked them to logon to MS Bookings and change my role to Admin, they didnt see the bookings page we are all a part of. If a user is a Administrator, is there a special way he needs to login to see the bookings page he/she has an Administrator role in? Otherwise it just takes you to a Personal Bookings page. Hi, I'm trying to add a Level 2 support engineer to my booking service as Guest (role). I'm able to add him and Bookings does send him an email saying that he has been added to the calendar and would get invites from the calendar. However, that email doesn't have a link for him to accept the invite. When I go to assign a booking to him as team member or Administrator, he does not show up in the list of staff to assign the booking. Nor can I type in his email address and add him as staff to the booking. When I look for him in the Staff settings, he is listed there with the red badge "Not bookable - pending for approval". How is he to approve an invite which doesn't have any links to approve! or how else am I supposed to get it done?2.6KViews2likes0CommentsRequire 2 staff members to be available for an Event?
Good day all! I am working with a few of our departments and wanted some clarification on having 2 staff members required in attendance for an Event. I thought I had done this before (I'm still new to the software), but cannot figure it out now. We have a couple of events that require a specific set of 2 people to be available in order for the Booking to be completed. Right now, the event is looking to see if EITHER are available. How would I go about requiring this to check both staff schedules and display only those times they are both available? *** RESOLVED *** Apparently Bookings was simply having some internal issues. The problem corrected itself, without us changing anything in our configuration. ***************** I just setup bookings and although it is "working", there is an odd issue. The calendar bookings do not contain the specifics of the individual who made the booking, but the notifications do? We have selected the checkbox to "require a Microsoft 365 or Office 365 account from my organization to book". We believed this would only allow people using email from our org to book appointments, but in our testing, we saw that this was not the case. Bookings Improvements / Suggestions. We use it for managing bookings of a small digital theater with 40 seats, but there's three issues we have with the system that would be great to get addressed. 1. When viewing the calendar you can't see details of the school that is in a booking, just that there is a booking. So to find the school to confirm numbers or details on the booking, is time consuming going in and out of each entry to find the correct one you want. 2. you need to have admin rights on the whole system to see the calendar, I'd love the ability for reception to book the bookings and other staff to see the bookings but I can't see how. So everyone has to have admin rights and this means anyone can make a mistake on any booking. 3. we have 40 seats in the theater, if we have a school of 10 kids, I'd love the ability to know there's 30 seats left for other similar aged schools, currently it's very manual and need to go into every booking that day, then add them up, then see if the school looking to attend can fit that day. if not, try the next day and repeat! Is it possible to have multiple landing pages that have dedicated Services? It seems like today you can only have one booking URL per organization which is an issue for me since we have some services we wouldn’t want everyone to see when going to the link (only for current customers or interviews for example). It would also be nice if we could embed data into the URL from our CRM to propagate the page with the end users Name, Phone Number, and email automatically.1.2KViews0likes1Comment
