Exam AI-103 demonstrates your ability to plan and manage Azure AI solutions and to implement generative AI and agentic solutions, computer vision solutions, text analysis solutions, and information extraction solutions. As a candidate for this Certification, you’re a developer who uses Python and Azure services to plan, implement, and manage AI solutions and agents that take advantage of Foundry, working closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, data scientists, DevOps engineers, and cloud security engineers. For this exam, you should have experience developing apps by using Python, and you need to be familiar with the capabilities of general AI, generative AI, and Azure services. Is the Azure Security Engineer Associate certification being retired? You’ve probably heard we’re introducing Microsoft’s new Security certifications. And you might wonder if this means we’re retiring the Azure Security Engineer Associate certification or its Exam AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies. The answer is no. The new Security, Compliance, and Identity certifications are focused on more discreet job roles and their exams don’t test the same objectives tested on the Exam AZ-500—although there may be some overlap. For example, 25% of the objectives in Exam AZ-500 are about identity and access management whereas the new Exam SC-300: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator is entirely focused on this area. Thank you for your patience with the MD-102 and MS-102 beta rescore process. Although the exams have been rescored and they are appearing in your Learn profiles, we have encountered a few more unexpected issues related to the system upgrades that delayed the rescores in the first place. If you took the beta exam prior to June 30, you see two results in your profile: a failed result that reflects an error in our system that misidentified ungraded exams as "fail" and your "real" result. We are working on a solution to remove the incorrect record. This should be resolved by September 26 (I'm in Pacific time zone). If you passed the beta exam and should have earned a certification as a result, unfortunately, you're not able to access the certification. We have identified the root cause and are discussing options to resolve as quickly as possible. I will have an update regarding this on or before Wednesday. I sincerely apologize for the continued challenges that we are having in getting the results of this beta exam processed correctly.
