Benchmarking Azure Event Hubs Premium for Kafka and AMQP workloads
We have been benchmarking Azure Event Hubs Premium for Kafka and AMQP workloads using OpenMessaging Benchmark Framework. For the workloads and configurations, we tested, Event Hubs Premium was able to stream events with average end-to-end latency of ~10ms for both Kafka and AMQP workloads.
Data encryption with Customer Managed keys for Azure Event Hubs
We are excited to announce the public preview of data encryption at rest with Customer Managed Keys support for Azure Event Hubs. Azure Event Hubs provides encryption of data at rest and in transit. By default, Event Hubs uses Azure Storage Service Encryption using Microsoft-managed keys to encrypt the data.
