Security patching and disaster recovery
Hi, 1. Our shop has heavy security focus and so would like to know if you share patching details for PaaS services' underlying components, or do we just rely on SLA/contracts for up to date patching ? 2. Is there any comprehensive resource to check how to split Disaster recovery responsibilities for data applications built on Azure PaaS (based on components/services used) ? Thanks, Maloy
App server migration
I have a Customer willing to test some water in Azure. They do have an App server they want to start with. It is a member of an AD domain. I am going to set up a hybrid environment but I do not think it will be a good idea to bring the migrated server up right away to production. Probably the safer approach would be to migrate one of the DCs in the same bubble as the migrated app and make a test failover. Any better suggestions?
