Yammer
252 TopicsUsing hard coded IP addresses for Yammer is not recommended
Microsoft uses three categories for Office 365 network endpoints with different requirements: Optimize, Allow, and Default. For the Default category, in order to minimize network optimization change management work required, we are replacing IP addresses with URLs. This includes removing the IP addresses previously listed for Yammer.31KViews0likes0CommentsHow to add alias domain for all users?
Hi, There's a company with their company's full name as their domain name and a shorter domain name. So, contoso.com and conto.so. They need all their users to have an alias of contoso.com and conto.so to be their primary email address. This way, they can: Send/Send as/Receive emails as both domain names for the respective users Receive shared files (OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online) on both domain names for the respective users Call as/receive call/book meeting on Skype for Business using both domain names for the respective users Send and receive calendar shares or event invitations on both domain names for the respective users This needs to be automatic, rather than adding the domain alias for each user. How can this be configured? Thanks,30KViews0likes4CommentsLearning and Development, Social Learning and Yammer
Learning and Development run an in-person course, bolt-on a Yammer group for the attendees to “talk to each other about the course” and wonder why no-one does so. Quite often they blame Yammer. It's the wrong answer to their question.28KViews6likes1CommentNew infographic: Explaining Office 365 Groups
On a user level, Office 365 Groups are one of the biggest selling points for moving to Office 365. They provide quick, easy access to an online workspace for communicating with colleagues and collaborating on documents and files. There’s little-to-no learning curve: get in and start working. But they’re also one of the most confusing new things in Office 365. Below is my take on how Groups (and Yammer and Teams!) works from an everyday user's perspective. Use it for training, for explaining, and as a go-to resource when Groups confuses you. Below is just a small part of the complete infographic. Read that in full and share with your colleagues!28KViews12likes3Comments
