Work profile
7 TopicsERROR: "Bad Request - Request Too Long" When Signing In To Microsoft 365 Using Work Profiles
When the following conditions are true: Using the latest version of Microsoft Edge browser. When the browser is signed in to any Microsoft 365 account. When browsing to any Microsoft 365 website. I receive the following browser error: Bad Request - Request Too Long HTTP Error 400. The size of the request headers is too long. When I sign in to any Work Profile, no matter the account/tenant, the moment I browse to any Microsoft 365 page i.e. any website that redirects via: https://login.microsoftonline.com/, I receive the error above e.g. https://office.com, https://admin.microsoft.com, https://portal.azure.com etc. If I sign-out from the Work Profile, everything works fine (i.e. I am presented with the usual Microsoft 365 sign-in dialogue for username and password, then 2FA code, then the expected page appears), if I then sign-in > browse > error ... sign-out, works fine, sign-in, error etc. ... consistently repeatable. Using 'Browse as Guest' or any 'Personal' or 'Work Profile' without signing in works fine. TROUBLESHOOTING ALREADY CARRIED OUT Deleted/recreated all profiles. Signed in / out multiple accounts on multiple tenants. Sync options > all, some, none. 'Automatic sign in on Microsoft Edge' enabled & disabled. 'Allow single sign-on for work or school sites using this profile' enabled & disabled. 'Automatic profile switching' all options on & all off. Deleted all cache/cookies, from all time in all profiles. Reset settings in all profiles. Completely uninstalled/reinstalled Microsoft Edge (i.e. Safe Mode > delete all files > all profile data> all temp files > all registry entries). Q1 What could cause this error, only when the Work Profile is signed-in? Q2 Aside from syncing settings, how would signing-in to the Work Profile effect OATH requests to https://login.microsoftonline.com/,? Q3 Has anybody experienced this or something like this before? Q4 Are there any troubleshooting steps I haven't tried?1KViews0likes2CommentsOutlook Mobile App updating network password on Android Work side
When a user updates their network password in Active Directory, where do you go into the phone and update the password or even just rekey to make sure its accurate? I know on the iPhone you do it from within the Outlook Mobile App. Where do you go for the Androids? I went into Accounts and went to work side but dont see where you can update it in there.526Views0likes1CommentConditional access blocks, even when Smartphone is marked as compliant
Hi Everyone. I'm trying to access my Exchange Mailbox over the Gmail App on my Pixel 8 Pro. Now my Problem is that a conditional access policy is blocking the access. I've created a policy that grants access to the "Office 365 Exchange Online" Resource, if passwordless MFA is satisfied and the device is marked as compliant. At the beginning I was trying to grant access if the Gmail App is protected by an app protection policy, which didn't work because Gmail does not support app protection policies, so I turned that off. So, my Smartphone is a BYOD and I've enrolled it into Intune with the "Android (personally-owned work profile)" enrollment method. A compliance policy is assigned, and Intune shows me that the device is compliant. Intune deploys the Gmail App to my work profile. I've read several documentations and I also deployed Google Chrome, Google Calendar and the Bing Search App just to be sure. But it still blocks access to the resource. I also made an Email configuration profile, to auto-setup the Gmail App with my Credentials. So everytime I open the Gmail App in my Work Profile, it tries to setup the account, I get an MFA number-matching prompt from MS Authenticator and then it tells me to download the company portal app and enroll my smartphone into Intune. Strange behavior because as I mentioned above, my Phone is indeed managed and marked as compliant in Intune. I was going through the Sign-in Logs, and I've seen that every logged attempt claims that the device is not compliant and not even managed. I feel like that I'm missing a big point. I would be thankfull if anyone has an idea to solve this ❤️ Thanks.Solved2.1KViews0likes2CommentsHow to publish a calendar with with permission "Can view all details"?
hi I want to share my work Outlook calendar so I can sync it with my Google Calendar so can see the meeting details. Regarding to https://www.alphr.com/sync-outlook-calendar-google-calendar/ it look like that the option "Can view all details" for Publish Calendar should be available. But in my Outlook settings I do not have this option I am using my work Outlook so the question is if our company admins can change that or this is a limitation for work type of Outlook. "View all details" option is available for my personal Outlook. Thank you Radek941Views0likes1CommentAndroid Personally Owned Work Profile apps fail to show as available.
I have been having an issue with Personally owned Work-Profile devices. I have a list of apps that are required and a list of apps that are available. The list of required apps was installed with no issues, but the list of available apps does not show as available if the app was made available after a device's enrollment time. To simplify when I enroll a device after I deploy the apps, all of the apps show up. If I want to make an app available after the enrollment it does not seem to update on the work profile play store. If I were to make the app required then it would install with no issues when the device next checks in. I attempted to search for the app in the work profile play store but it just says that the administrator has not made the app available. If I navigate to the enrolled device inside of intune it shows that the apps are assigned and available.Solved7.8KViews0likes7CommentsExtension Sync with work profiles
Hello folks, i'm wondering how extension sync is implemented with work profiles? Assuming there are managed clients with GPOs to restrict the installable extensions. These policies affect all profiles on the client including the sync-enabled work profile. Imagine a user is signing-in into her M365 work profile from an unmanaged client (which at time of writing can not be prevented!), now she would be able to install any extension. These extensions would possibly have access to all websites she is able to access/logon with her work profile. I assume the additionally installed extensions would then also be synced but would be disabled on the managed client through the policies. Is my assumption correct? How to prevent users from accessing websites through the work profile on unmanaged clients with enterprise blocked extensions?
