Hello, I have been getting the VIDEO DXGKRNL FATAL ERROR after the feature update Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.26220.5770 (ge_release_upr). I noticed that this error is only happening when my laptop is connected to an external monitor and is not outputting any audio. For now, using an external monitor requires me to disconnect my laptop from the monitor first and keep it playing music before I reconnect it. I tried upgrading and reinstalling the graphics driver and installing a driver for my monitor; none of them solved this issue. My graphics card is NVIDIA Quadro P10000, and the driver version is 32.0.15.8115. Glad to provide more info if anyone has a clue about this issue. Hi everyone, I just submitted new feedback in the Feedback Hub about the taskbar in Windows 11. Many of us miss the flexibility we had in Windows 10, and I think it's important Microsoft hears this from as many users as possible. Specifically, the feedback asks Microsoft to: - Allow the taskbar to be moved to the top (and other sides) of the screen. - Bring back multi-row taskbars for people who pin many apps. - Support custom toolbars again (quick access to folders, files, and shortcuts). - Make it possible to keep system tray icons always visible without extra clicks. If you also miss these features, please upvote the feedback here: https://aka.ms/AAxn2ht The Windows taskbar has always been one of the most important parts of the OS, and restoring these customization options would improve productivity and make Windows 11 more user-friendly for everyone. Thanks for supporting this! Niklas, Sweden96Views2likes1CommentHow to reinstall Windows 11 from USB bootable drive?
My Windows 11 PC is infected by malware and can't get rid of. So I made a bootable USB with Windows 11 Media Creation Tool but the USB is not available at boot up. I'm a bit uncertain about the exact steps to follow for a smooth reinstallation process. I've heard that there can be some tricky parts, especially with BIOS settings. Could someone guide me through the process of reinstalling Windows 11 from USB drive? What kind of things I should be before and during the installation? Hi! I'm using Windows 11 Insider build. I left insider mode a few weeks ago, but the Insider option says "Leave Insider Program. I click on "Leave", then a browser shows "This email address is not registered as a Windows Insider." How can I permanently leave this Insider program? If I restart the computer, would that help? Just some thoughts on Windows 11, wich makes is literally a pain to use in a Business Environment. Lack of mulitrow Taskbar (like 2 rows as it was in Windows 10)q Having many open applications, especially on a small screen (eg. 14 inch) fills the taskbar very quickly, and the ones not fitting get moved (hidden from plain sight) makes the whole working process more tedious. The setting for the Grouping of Tabs set to "never" is a nice addition, but is it buggy as hell. Like, open a Bunch of Chrome Tabs, if the Taskbar gets too full, all Chrome Tabs gets moved to the submenu, and most of the Taskbar again is useless and wasting space. Grouped Items in the Taskbar adds a lot of overhead if you have to switch between applications on a regular basis (like i said, in a business environment this is really stressful). The Items in the Taskbar having different widths drives me nuts. I get this, this is just personal preference, but i like a clean look with a standardized look and feel. Basically, the only thing thats preventing me from changing to Windows 11 is the total lack of customization Options for the Taskbar, compared to Windwos 10. Windows 10 in that regard is way superior to Windows 11. Making the Taskbar "more simple" is a nice Idea, i have no doubt about that, but making it "more simple" at the cost of usability is just madness, and not actually achieving the goal that should be strived for by making it "more simple" in the first place. These are just the most critical missing Features from the taskbar, wich might get me to switch to Windwos 11. But just to be complete about it, there are many more now missing Features for the Taskbar in Windows 11 compared to Windows 10.167Views0likes3CommentsHow to recover files from USB drive for free?
I'm hoping someone here can help me out. I recently plugged in my SanDisk 512GB Ultra USB 3.0 Flash Drive on my Windows 11 PC, and to my surprise, dozens of photos that were stored on it have suddenly gone missing. I’m not sure what happened. One day the photos were there, and the next day they were just... gone. I’ve searched the drive thoroughly and tried different computers, but no luck. It’s like the files vanished without a trace. Are there any free tools or methods that can help me recover the lost files from this USB drive? Thank you! (I had previously used this USB as a bootable drive a while ago, but later reformatted it and started using it to store personal files)97Views0likes1CommentEmoji Icon Popup 🫶
Just updated to running Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 27858. 🥳 I saw the new emoji icon on my task bar, when I clicked on it, the emoji icon disappeared. After a reboot, it's now showing the instruction popup. I will reboot again & might get the emoji icon's popup I am looking for. Super-handy emoji icon feature by Windows, I appreciate it. 👏130Views0likes3Comments
