FSLogix local userfolder with numbers
Hello, we got a problem with FSLogix. We are using FSLogix for about 3 years now and everything works, but there is a problem with the local folders (local_username folder). We got no redirections running, so there is just the default folders like temp being redirected in that local folder. As we got a new software which saves data temporary to the local_username\temp folder, we noticed that there is a problem with the folder creation / delete. FSLogix creates sometimes new local_username folders with numbers added. On some computers there are folders with numbers from e.g. 1-6. The actual used folder is the highest number. A problem now occures, because when logging on at another machine, the TEMP variable points at the local_username\temp folder with no number and this folder of course doesn't work because the acutal used folder set by fslogix is local_username5\temp for example. Why are these folders with additional numbers are being created and how to fix this? We can't find a solution. Dear all, I am doing a migration of an on-premises user's profile to VHD using FRX.exe command line but constantly getting an error "Exit code 9: The system cannot write to the specified device" I checked the code explanation is "There was an error creating the VHD/X file." but nothing else is mentioned! https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/fslogix/fslogix-error-codes-reference The user has administrative writes to the disk. so I am lost what is wrong in here?
User profile reconfiguration issue after windows 2004 update
one of the machine 10 user profile got corrected in our domain environment . as normal, Renamed user folder from admin , deleted profile location from Registry(HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList.) but after that when try to login the same user , we cant and getting below error . any solution ?. tryed so many powershell comments available online , no luck except formatting .Please help .
