Hello dear community, I love viva enage and the path it has taken. Now with the co-pilot in preview, things are really coming together. Just one question has been bothering me for a long time: Does anyone here know why emojis have not been used on a social platform like this until now? Yes, you can react with emojis, but what would be much more important is to use emojis when writing a discussion question or post. And if someone knows the answer, why was it omitted ? I got a question from a group of Swedish users with a community in Viva Engage. When they update with new posts, an email is sent out to the members. They have noticed that these emails are often sent out in the middle of the night, one or more days after the post is written. Is there any setting for the community owner, to set when these daily emails are sent out, to avoid burdening members with these nightly emails? (there are several reasons for why we do not want jobrelated emails to be sent in the middle of the night, and for notifications automatically sent out, users are not always on top of adjusting their notifications , so therefore this question) Our organization exist in several time zones, so this would be good to set for each community depending on time zone. I can not find any info on how to adjust the time/time zone when these emails are sent out. So what is currently causing them being sent out in the middle of the night for our European users? As a first response to this we encourage users to look into their Viva Engage Notification settings, but we have no good answer to why the emails have to go out in the middle of the night. Let's dive into the tips: Zapier Integration - Viva Goals support integration with industry-leading tools and platforms you use every day. However, for the few applications that are not supported, we do have an alternate method. Our integration with Zapier will allow you to connect Viva Goals with all the tools you use every day. With the Zapier integration, you can automate the check-ins in Viva Goals when an event occurs in the other tool. Email notifications - Are you not receiving emails like check-in reminders, explorer exports, summary updates from Goals? Here's something you can check - by default all emails from Goals are sent to the UPN ID of the user profile in Entra ID. If your UPN doesn't have an inbox associated with it, you'd not be receiving the emails from us. We've seen cases where customers want to route the emails to the alias field in Entra ID instead of the UPN. If that's your requirement, you can contact the support team and they'll help you fix this. Approval Workflow - We're seeing customers mention that they're missing the option to change the approval workflow status for their OKRs. This happens when you're in a view with multiple time periods. The workflow status has to be updated individually for each entity and each time period. When multiple time periods are selected, you'll not see the option to change the status. Thanks for taking the time to read this post. I tried exporting page analytics, but it does not show me the names and also, I need the counts. Who has responded to the discussion? Hi, We have performed a multi tenant syncronization with a company with the purpose of enabling more effective collaboration as if we belonged to the same tenant In Viva. We have invited the synced microsoft users to our Viva Engage portal. Because of the sync, the users are no longer marked as 'guests' in Viva Engage. However, the issue is, once synced the users (who are added to Viva as members, not guests) still cannot discover new communities in Viva that they have not been invited to (as if they where guests). Is there any way of enabling this? I was looking into setting of 'Native mode' / 'non-native mode' / 'hybrid-mode' and was hoping perhaps that could be of use. Hi All, I’m wondering if someone would be able to help with what seems like a Viva Goals glitch described below please? It seems that when reassigning objectives or key results within Viva Goals, it seems to ‘hang onto’ the data from the older owner when creating filtered views. E.G.1: I reassigned objectives & key results what were initially assigned to OldUser1, to NewUser2. Yet, when I do a filter by owner OldUser1, which should be blank, it shows me NewUser2 newly assigned objectives E.G.2: Similarly, User3 has reassigned some of his objectives to others, yet when filtering for his objectives only, it brings up other objectives that are no longer related to User3. These also appear within his “My OKRs” view which clutters up his filtered view. I’m guessing its something to do with cached data maybe but just guessing.
