"The phone number you entered has already been registered by someone else" see attached image confirmed the number is not duplicated in the skype for business control panel using this command: Get-CsUser | Select-Object DisplayName,SipAddress,LineURI | Export-Csv -Path C:\CsUser.csv -NoTypeInformation10KViews2likes12Commentsconversation history in oulook 2016
I'm experiencing a Problem with Skype for Business users, who have an addittional Exchange mail account in their Outlook. We are using the latest Outlook and also the latest Skype for Business Client (monthly channel). Our Skype for Business and on-prem Exchange Servers are patched to the latest release. The conversation history for some users gets saved in their additional Mailbox, which doesn't match the user's own UPN or Emailadress. The only way to resolve this issue I could find out, was deleting the additional Mailbox, disable the saving in the S4B Client, reboot, re-enable saving in the S4B Client, test that conversation gets saved to user's Mailbox, re-enable additional Mailbox. Does anybody have any ideas on this?9.8KViews0likes5CommentsContact cards show phone number that doesn't exist as an attrribute
We have a few users whose contact cards are displaying phone numbers that do not exist on their accounts or contacts. These phone numbers did previously exist on their AD accounts but were corrected some time ago. So far I have confirmed that the number does not exist in an attributes of their AD account (inc. sip address), mailbox or Skype accounts, and does not exist in Outlook contacts. I have also cleared the galcontact.* files from sip profiles, and cleared the entire sip profile but the contact cards on the GAL still display this old number. The corrected numbers display OK, but this old number is displayed as well on a separate line. Any advice on how to clean up these contact cards would be welcome. We're 100% cloud (Office 365 E3) with Cloud PBX / Skype for Business Online; The Exchange admin panel has an option to enable Unified Messaging for our users -- is there any benefit to doing this -- and what would the dial plan be?4.2KViews0likes1CommentSkype for Business Online Voicemail Transcription coming on March 31st
Per the message in my tenant.. Skype for Business Online Voicemail Transcription is a new Office 365 feature. This feature will be released to all customers on March 31, 2017 (MC97355). Voicemail Transcription will be enabled by default for all customers. Once it is released, users will receive a transcription of their voicemails in the email body. You can disable this feature at any time from your configuration. Will this use the same public Bing translation services that are used in Meeting Broadcasts too, or is this a different technology?4KViews1like2CommentsDefault language in Skype FB invitation
Hi guys This might be simple but I'm not a Skype guru so I will just ask you guys. We are a danish company and therefor we have deployed Microsoft Office with DK as language. But when users invite to a Skype FP meeting, the invite is in danish. I know how to change it in Outlook and also keep it in english, but is there a way to do it by default on the Skype servers (hosted on-prem version 2015) or is it an Office setting you would use Group Policys to set on the client computer....4KViews0likes2CommentsVoicemail not being delivered from Phone System to Exchange 2013
Hi all, We've been piloting Phone System with Skype for Business Online. We set everything up for delivery of voicemail to our on-premises Exchange 2013 environment per the instructions at https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/help/3195158/customer-issues-between-exum-and-azure-voicemail. This was working well up until around the middle of October, when we discovered voicemail was no longer being delivered. Today we finally identified that the system is attempting to deliver these messages through the SMTP fallback mechanism but are being blocked for spoofing because the From: address is using our domain. I've had our mail administrator whitelist the email address the system is using and these messages are being delivered now. However, due to the fact they are being delivered via SMTP they only show up in the Inbox, not in the SfB app or the Voicemail search folder in Outlook. Is direct depositing of voicemail messages in Exchange on-premises still working for anyone else?3.7KViews0likes4CommentsPSTN Calling Belgium
