Default language in Skype FB invitation

Hi guys

 

This might be simple but I'm not a Skype guru so I will just ask you guys.

 

We are a danish company and therefor we have deployed Microsoft Office with DK as language. But when users invite to a Skype FP meeting, the invite is in danish. I know how to change it in Outlook and also keep it in english, but is there a way to do it by default on the Skype servers (hosted on-prem version 2015) or is it an Office setting you would use Group Policys to set on the client computer....

    Hi,

    You can try in outlook:

    FILE -> Options -> Language -> Choose Display and Help Languages -> Select "English" and Set as Default.

    To change the language in outlook. But only setting on Skype for Business server is add languages to the dialin number.

    Hello Jesper!

     

    I believe you are already on the right track, as this is not something that can be set from the server side; it will be an Office setting, as you already discovered. I know you were hoping for a different answer, but at least now you know the direction to proceed for tackling this, right?
