Hi, we have two Domaincontrollers (2012 R2, 2016 - will be replaced next week with 2x 2022, Domain Level yet 2012, will be 2019), all Users are synced to MS365 via AAD Connect. All of our new clients are AzureJoined only and managed by intune, not directly joined to the local Active Directory. Users are login into their devices via UPN mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons . I'm trying to mount some network shares with the users UPN mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons which are provided by the Domain Controller. Unfortunatly this isnt working somehow, and i don't know why. If i login manually or via powershell with the pre-windows 2000 login def\abc everything is working. anybody here who can help to give my intune managed clients access to the network shares via UPN?704Views0likes0CommentsUser photo showing up everywhere but SharePoint user profle
Hello. I'm aware there're many threads about SharePoint user profile pictures not showing in different ways. We've been facing an issue which I couldn't find a solution nor fix it myself. We're using Exchange Online and set user profile photos with a scheduled PowerShell script via Set-UserPhoto. This works as intended and the photo is showing everywhere, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Delve etc. The only place where it doesn't show is in the SharePoint user profile service's user profile. You know, the /_layouts/15/tenantprofileadmin/ProfAdminEdit.aspx in the SharePoint admin center. The mysite collection where these pictures are supposed to be hosted contain the LThumb, MThumb and SThumb thumbnail placeholders but not the actual photos. As far as I understand the logic is that when using EXO a user has to browse his Delve profile page which will trigger a sync to the SharePoint user profile - not so for us. I've experimented with the two settings that should have an effect on this sync mechanism: - SPS-PictureExchangeSyncState - SPS-PicturePlaceholderState As far as I interpret those settings SPS-PictureExchangeSyncState means that unless this is enabled not photos can be pulled from EXO and an admin has to manually upload a photo in the user profile service. SPS-PicturePlaceholderState I think indicates whether or not a picture has been set if it's 0 and set if it's 1 but I'm not sure if it's the other way around. Anyway, apart from manually setting the picture here it's not pulling from EXO. If anyone knows anything I'd appreciate your comments. Thanks.1.7KViews0likes0CommentsGuest access issues
I am having issues with a user and guest access, but it is for a team she is supposed to be a guest for. We have Teams set up and everything is working fine on our end. The user was added as a guest to a team in another tenant but doesn't seem to be getting access. She received the email telling her she has access, but when she follows the link and signs in, it just loads her normal teams and not the new team she is supposed to have access to. The one thing I can think of is with our setup, user's email addresses do not match their UPN (the email address is company.com and UPN is company.company.com, don't ask it's a long story). I was wondering if this could be the issue. Since she was added as mailto:user@company.com but when she sings in she is signing into mailto:user@company.company.com it isn't matching up? Her email address is tied to her account, but I'm not sure what else we should even be looking at. Thanks.4KViews0likes2Comments
