Teams Adds Snapchat Lenses to Video Effects for Meetings
Teams meeting participants can now choose from 24 Snapchat Lenses as effects to apply to their video feed. It’s unclear how advantageous these lenses are to the efficient running of Teams meetings, but beauty is very much in the eye of the individual meeting participant. Some will find the Snapchat Lenses create a compelling effect. Others will be less positive. Co-Organisers
Great work with the Co-Organisers within Teams Meeting Options. Are there plans to also include the control of the Breakout rooms to Co-Organisers without the Organiser having to set them up first and give others control? Could this be added as a Check Box to the Meeting Options? It's very annoying when the Organiser hasn't given others Breakout room controls and they lose connection whilst the breakout rooms are open and in use. Teams effectively take all members of the Breakout Rooms hostage. The only way to get them back is for someone to email all delegates and ask them to come back manually. I'm not always around to be able to log on as the Organiser and rescue the hostages! Can we have a button please 🙂
Unable to set "end appointments early" for Teams Meetings
Hi We recently enabled the Outlook o365 setting End appointments and Meetings early. However it seems this setting do not apply to Teams meetings created from Outlook or Teams. There are no such policy in the Teams Admin Policy interface as well. Anyone solved this by gpo, powershell or is it a feature that didn't find its way to MS Teams just yet ?MTR Video feeds blank
Hi, We are working on a proof of concept for Microsoft teams rooms video conferencing within my business and i have been working on testing different products. I am currently using a Lenovo ThinkSmart hub 500 and i am having a problem where the TV we have the smarthub connected to is working fine until we join/create a call, at which point the screen flashes white then stays black afterwards, with neither of mine or my colleagues video feeds showing, but on the other end of the call the video feeds are working fine. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have tried using the MTR recovery tool with no success and i have used this TV with another device so i know it isn't the TV itself?
How to set up meetings with Skype for Business users
My organization just switched from Skype for Business to Teams. Our customer still uses Skype for Business and I want to set up a meeting with them and send them the appropriate link to the meeting room. Is this possible? I tried to set this up through the coexistence settings, but it says Microsoft has disabled this so I cannot move back. This is quite urgent for us. Can anybody provide any advice on how to set up the meeting, or, if not, how to move back to Skype for Business? I prefer Teams but my customer is still using SFB and it is important we are able to arrange meetings with them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
