Hi, We have a about a dozen Skype Room System units (both the Surface and Lenovo Hub 500) deployed in our environment, installed with SRS version 4.0.64.0, Windows version 10.0.16299.785 and they all have the error message "cannot fetch calendar". Some background history: This message appeared during a Exchange on-prem -> cloud migration, and was expected because of our autodiscover records still pointing to the on-prem server. It was also expected that it would be fixed by itself once we updated our autodiscover records to point to the cloud, but unfortunately this did not solve the problem. We are currently running on a Skype for Business 2013 server on-prem, and Exchange Online (hybrid) Troubleshooting: I first thought this was autodiscover related, because of what i mentioned above. I have tried to manually add the cloud autodiscover server to the hosts file a few of the systems, that did not help. Further step was checking that the licensing in Office 365 is ok, all accounts have E3 license. Installed Office 365 proplus on a few of the systems, to check if sign-in to to a normal desktop version of SFB worked and it did. The SFB client read the calendar and everything worked as it should. Created a new meeting room account in the cloud Re-installed one of the systems (worth a shot) Now, if i try with a room mailbox account only existing on our on-prem server, it works. I have looked through many SRS articles here with the same problem, and i noticed someone mentioned that it was ADFS related, but i am not sure where to look. At this point i am lost, and am hoping one of you brilliant people could help me out. Also, happy new year!11KViews1like10CommentsError running CreateSRSMedia.ps1 - Microsoft Teams Rooms USB image creation
When I run CreateSRSMedia.ps1 under an Administrator PowerShell console, I get an error: “Cannot convert the "System.Object[]" value of type "System.Object[]" to type "System.Version". At line:1 char:1” (Running it from C:\MTR\CreateSRSMedia.ps1). No useful information on what went wrong provided. Any idea what could be wrong??? It is step #1 on this page: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/room-systems/console#prepare-the-installation-media I opened a Premier Performance Support ticket, but haven't been able to get a tech who knows what that script is so far. 😞Solved9.6KViews0likes8CommentsSkype Room Systems on Logitech smartdock. Completely locks up.
We have had a multitude of issues with the Smartdock/SRS we purchased to demo/test. We purchased the package from Logitech with the Surface pre-imaged, so we did not image ourselves. Currently the device is not domain joined. The main issue right now is that the unit locks up completely from time to time. I have tried rebooting it daily in the early morning, but it seems to happen randomly (and usually when someone is having an important meeting). Currently the Surface is on Windows 10 1703 with all other current updates installed. Skype Room System app is on 3.1.100.0 It is kind of strange when it freezes, and I've literally been using the device when it happens. When it locks up, you can still see "halo" around the touch input on the screen where you press your finger to the screen. However, no input of any kind is registered. Also notable is that I've tried accessing the SRS with our remote support tool while it's in this state. Through Bomgar, I can move the "cursor" but again, no inputs register. I can force reboot through Bomgar or using the power button. Is it safe to update the Surface firmware and drivers? Any other suggestions?7.6KViews0likes9CommentsSRS V3 Logitech SmartDock and HDMI Video, Audio issues when hosting screen sharing from dock to TV
We have been doing a PoC with Logitech's SmartDock Skype Room System (SRS 3.0.15.0 on W10 1703, October 2017 firmware on the dock) and have experienced an issue with video and audio quality degradation as soon as screen sharing is enabled on the SRS in the meeting with HDMI video input from a laptop. We can reproduce the issue whenever connected to a Samsung smart TV using HDMI, or DisplayPort to HDMI adapter, and 55" (UN55MU7000FXZC) or 65" TV models (UN65MU6290F). If screen sharing is not from the SRS (i.e. if it is from another meeting participant) there is no issue. Single display or dual display makes no difference. The issue does not occur when we use: a Benq LCD projector; or, a second SRS room, an LG commercial TV with the same software. We have been unable to get an explanation for why this is happening so far. It seems the recommended models from Logitech are all commercial TVs which is somewhat limiting. This is what we have received from Logitech: "Here is a list of the displays that we and Microsoft have found to work properly. 70” Sharp Aquos 208U1406031 65” SMART SPNL-6000 or SBID8065i-G5 ELO EL4201 55” Samsung DB55E HP Compaq L2105TM 3M, Product: M1866PW Model: 98-0003-3726-5 LG Flatron 55WT30MS-B We have not kept an accurate list of failing displays, but do know that the following are failing: 55” Sony XBR-55X850D Insignia models Some Samsung models."6.9KViews0likes7CommentsSkype Room System Error skype-mrx:// class not registered
It appears the Surface our SRS (V2 I believe) only updated to Windows 10 1607 yesterday, which is now causing the error "Skype-mrx:// class not registered" when the Skype Room System tried to load. We cannot restore or uninstall the update, or see a way to upgrade to 1703 as Windows only tries to upgrade to 1709, which appears to be unsupported currently. Does anyone know if there is a way we can resolve this error?6.8KViews0likes6CommentsSkype rooms v2 calender not showing

Hi there We have purchased a Logitech Meetup as well as a Logitech Smartdock with a Surface Pro on which we have installed the Skype Meeting Room System image. We now have the problem that the webcam image is flickering due to the powerline frequency. We couldn't find anywhere under settings that allowed us to change the frequency the same way it can be done in the SfB desktop application. We have tried installing the Camera Settings tool from Logitech as the local admin, but unfortunately couldn't boot the device afterwards - so we will try it again... but until then I wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced this issue and whether you found a solution?Solved6.5KViews0likes5CommentsSkype Room System v3 - wireless Display
we are planning to roll out some SRS to our Meeting Rooms. Actualy we use microsoft wireless display adapter in our rooms to connect to the beamer, now we would like the same functionality on the SRS box. Is there any possibility to use Miracast (like the Windows Connect App) to share a remote screen in SRS? We tried to add a microsoft wireless display adapter to the HDMI In Port of the Logitech Smartdock but it does not work, the display remains blank. Hello, For the first time I am trying to update our Microsoft Teams Rooms VC units, and I am using the deployment package MSI. We have the Windows Store disabled in our organization. I am using the PowerShell command that was included on a Microsoft support webpage, but it doesn't seem to work. Add-AppxPackage -Update -ForceApplicationShutdown -Path "$PSScriptRoot\*.appx" -DependencyPath (Get-ChildItem "$PSScriptRoot\Dependencies\x64\*.appx" | Foreach-Object {$_.FullName}) I get the following error: Add-AppxPackage : Deployment failed with HRESULT: 0x80073D19, An error occurred because a user was logged off. Windows cannot update package Microsoft.SkypeRoomSystem_4.0.85.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe because the previous version is not installed. Install package Microsoft.SkypeRoomSystem_4.0.85.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe instead of updating it. NOTE: For additional information, look for [ActivityId] 49d95327-2d18-0000-c4f3-d949182dd501 in the Event Log or use the command line Get-AppxLog -ActivityID 49d95327-2d18-0000-c4f3-d949182dd501 But if I remove the -update parameter, then it works fine. But I still see the old and new version installed under C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\ so I am guessing that isn't right. Can anyone provide some guidance to what might be wrong? Thank you!Solved5.6KViews0likes2Comments
