Can we allow SharePoint 2019 OneDrive to sync outside of domain/intranet?
I want to sync SharePoint 2019 site library to local file system via OneDrive using Sync option of SharePoint library and User should be able to sync outside of intranet/Domain register PC. Like we can do that using office 365 OneDrive. I have setup the configuration as per https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/install/configure-syncing-with-the-onedrive-sync-app. OneDrive work fine and user can be able to access my site and one drive using web browser outside of intranet. How ever when I tried to sync folder it's open OneDrive popup to login then it not able to login. After Click on sync button, it will open this window. After click on sign in it will fail It will work fine in intranet network (domain register PC) and after click sign in it will open window popup to ask credential. Once sign in I was able to sync. I noticed between SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online the Copy Path button ( ) only appears in SharePoint online. Is there a way to make this copy path button appear in the on prem sites too? I am supporting a client Sharepoint 2019 farm. There is Global Navigation driven by Managed Metadata. I am using Term Store Management tool to create a Master Top Navigation - term sets and terms. There are multiple sites and subsites that are configured for this farm. I have created different term sets for each sites/subsites. I have pinned the terms with the children to all the sites and subsites. The issue is that if I change a URL for any terms on Master Top Navigation, it does not reflect to the sites and subsites using that. Is there an easier way to accomplish this?
SharePoint 2019 inactive sites report
Hello everyone, Can you please tell me if there is a way to get a report of inactive/unused sites from all SharePoint 2019 sites that I have in my farm? I used PowerShell with the following two properties "LastUserModifiedDate" and"LastItemUserModifiedDate" but I don't think the .csv report that I got is that accurate. Based on the following Microsoft article, https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/troubleshoot/lists-and-libraries/modified-date-site-contents-not-accurate, "LastItemUserModifiedDate" should be useful in this case. Do you know or do you have any other solutions for this subject? Thank you very much!
Background color when editing Pages in SharePoint 2019
In SharePoint 2019, when editing pages with “classic experience” there is no way to choose a background color for the background of table cells or for other elements. We are limited to what is available in existing styles. It would be useful if there was a button that would allow us to select the color that we want to apply as the background of an element, similar to what you can do in Word (office 365).
SharePoint 2019 - Highlighted Content Managed property issues
Objective: Use Highlighted Content Web Part to show only the Site Pages that have a given Choice Value using a Managed Property. Problem: When Filter is applied, depending on the value, no pages are shown at all, or only 1 shows up when there should be multiple. If no filter is applied then all the pages show as expected. SharePoint 2019 on Premise - Workflow 2013 issue
Hi i just update my SharePoint 2019 to the most recent patch (16.0.10377.20001) of Aug 21. Since this update, my workfow 2013 start and stuck without running steps. After a couple hours, status changed to suspend. How to solve this issue. SharePoint 2019 Migration
Hi, Currently we are doing SharePoint migration from 2013 to 2019. the existing portal is Anonymous access with FBA implemented. We need your suggestion/advice here. In newly migration site we are configured with AAD form AD but no SSO Anonymous access is required but how do we handle this FBA for external users? shall we go with same FBA concept? or B2B ? since we are moving from AD to AAD. If B2B is the correct way, please provide the reference, how to implement? or If need to go with SSO, need advice how to provide anonymous access? We have a Sharepoint 2019 on premise enviroment. The following behaviour is with MS Edge on a document library: I have installed a new document library with different content types. If I try to click "NEW" to add a new dokument from a template, then a Dokument called "document1" is created , but without any extensions. If I switch to classic sharepoint, everything works as expexted. And also with IE11 it works fine. Any suggestions ? P.S.
