We have started to roll out and migrate our users content to SharePoint and OneDrive and starting to notice more and more users getting the following: "Your organization doesn't allow you to download, print or sync using this device. To use other actions, use a device that's joined to a domain or marked compliant by Intune. For help, contact your IT department." This seems to be happening on a mix of desktop and laptops. We have a Hybrid environment at the moment with everything being done in AD and being synced back to AAD. So far we have tried re-joining the device to the domain, the Windows 10 Accounts Edge plug TNA. dsrecmd is not the same for all devices with this issue also! Can anyone offer any advice or suggestion?98KViews0likes14CommentsMigrated to O365. Emails going to GMAIL Spam.
Hello, We have a clean domain name. We recently migrated to Office365, now all emails go to GMAIL Spam. Recipients are confirming we never went to spam before. We have SPF and DKIM set up and validated. We tried removing email signatures. This seems very weird. Any ideas?Solved35KViews0likes10CommentsI lost my Admin privileges in Microsoft 365
So, I'm working in a corporate company and we had services purchased like Azure, PowerBI etc. that we were paying for a long time. And until today I was logging in with the Admin email to the 365 admin portal with my admin account. but today when I try that Email has lost it's admin privileges. And so to recover that account I tried directly connecting through the phone call which also had to go through an automated voice assistant. And even after finally connected with the call. the only way they were about to provide a help was to telling them what is the current admin account's email address. which is like the reason why we called them because we have a security breach and don't know who did that. And I had all my previous admin accounts with credentials and all payment details etc. but I had to talk to some guy for like 20 minutes that just repeating the same thing like tell me the current admin email so w can help you further. Like if I know that why would I even call them. And I have all the details of my previous info but how can I know what the email that the attacker has used in just one day.175Views0likes1Commentemail delivery report in ExO
Where specifically in Exchange Online (ExO) would an admin need to navigate to if they needed to get a detailed report to show how many messages from a specific external address had landed in their recipients inbox(es), and how many had been quarantined and under what category (with details, e.g. date/time/recipient affected etc). Are there any out-of-the-box reports that can help with this and meet this criteria?213Views0likes1CommentAdding a Custom Test to the Maester Tenant Analysis Tool
The Maester tool is a great way to generate a security assessment for a Microsoft 365 tenant. Being able to create custom Maester tests makes it even better. In this article, we explain how to create a custom Maester test that reads the Entra ID Groups policy to report if users are allowed to create new Microsoft 365 groups (and teams). https://office365itpros.com/2024/10/07/custom-maester-test/149Views0likes0CommentsNot for profit password reset support
Hello. I was recently successful I setting up a Microsoft not for profit account for a community organisation I volunteer for. I have however had trouble logging in an asking for a password reset. I had been emailing the support team but they have not been replying to my emails as they said they couldnt verify my identity even though I provided them with everything they asked for. I am just trying to find out who I need to speak and what I need to do to reset the password as on the login screen there is no "reset password link" and the password I originally set doesn't work. Any help with this much appreciated as I am doing this voluntarily and what I thought would be a very simple request is turning out to be very time-consuming. Many thanks275Views0likes2CommentsWhere Is The Microsoft 365 Password Complexity Requirements Documentation?
Hi, I have done some (what I believed to be) decent startpage searches to find this, but the closest thing I could find to a definition was an IBM document. Where is the Microsoft Documentation (or Graph API endpoint to show this) which defines the Microsoft 365 Password Requirements?Solved529Views0likes4CommentsSetup Alert when user creates a new inbox rule
Hi, I am looking for an way to setup a new Office 365 Alert that would send me an email when a user creates a new inbox rule. I have looked at tech articles and have created them via manage alerts, but they don't seem to be working as I never get the email notification.46KViews3likes20CommentsSigning VBA in Word
Hello. I am attempting to sign VBA in a Word file. I imported a PFX file to my Personal Certificates (via edge://settings/privacy). I also confirmed the import via certmgr.msc (it's there under Personal...Certificates) This PFX is used for a server TLS which I maintain (in addition to the server leaf cert, the PFX contains the intermediate and root self-signed organization certs...both are pre-loaded in everybody's Windows Trust Stores). So my thinking is to sign the VBA with this server PFX then via chain of trust, the VBA signature will be verified when walked back to the root by the client. Anyway, in MS Word...Developer....Tools...Digital Signature.... when I choose "Sign as" and Choose button, I get the "No usable signing certificates are available" Anybody have any ideas? I've googled all over and all day.. Does the "Certificate intended purpose" have anything to do with it not being available? thank you so much for reading.316Views0likes3CommentsRecommendations to set up complex permissions site and library
We have a process in SP2016 where one collection has about 200 subsites and another similar collection about 50 subsites. Each subsite is for 1 user, some profile data, and their documents. A couple times a year a group of subsites need to have read access for three other employees (3 different per subsite, not 3 for the group of subsites). After about a month, these permissions are removed. This is a very manual process. This system needs to be converted to SPO, but subsites are not permitted and since the subsite template may change, does not seem appropriate. My process has been to create a record per user, linked to a folder per user and accessed via a PowerApp. I have some workflows to help manage permissions, but it's not comprehensive yet. I'm interested in finding out how someone else would tackle this migration, keeping in mind that ultimately it is managed by non-tech HR staff. Thank You!255Views0likes2Comments
