Hello, When I set up a Skype for Business meeting on Outlook, I click on the arrow beside 'skype meeting' icon and click on 'set access permissions' - a timer comes up and it says please wait. It holds on this for about 2 minutes. Then a box comes up saying 'To create the online meeting sign into Skype for Business (lync) and try again'. However, I am already signed into my Skype For Business App and it is open. I have tried signing out then in again and restarting computer. I have also tried setting up the meeting then trying to set access permissions afterwards but this doesn't work. I am using a Mac and it is fully up to date. Because I cannot 'set access permissions' the lobby function is not working on my meetings. I am working with children so it is vital that I can use this. And I cannot seem to mute or be able to remove individual participants, even though I am host. I am using my school account. Please can you advise. Thank you, Lucy1.2KViews0likes0CommentsDeleting old skype meetings
Hi there I tested the Skype Meeting scheduler Add-in for Outlook 365 desktop-app and created some appointments. After testing I deleted the appointments, but all are shown in my Skype web scheduler, and I can not delete them there. Web scheduler says: "You can’t make changes to this meeting because it wasn’t created using Lync Web Scheduler." Alle appointments were deleted in my calendar. How do I delete them in the web scheduler? Thank you for your help. Regards2.7KViews0likes0CommentsSkype for Business web scheduler - remove meeting

I have 2 Macs (Mac mini, MacBook Pro). On my Mac mini I have no problems scheduling Skype for Business meetings from within Outlook for Mac. However, I can't schedule any Skype for Business meetings on my MacBook Pro. I've noticed in Settings --> Security & Privacy --> Privacy tab --> Automation that Mac mini does show Microsoft Outlook selected under Skype for Business as an option. MacBook Pro does not show Microsoft Outlook listed under Skype for Business. I've uninstalled/reinstalled Skype for Business and did the same as well for Outlook but no dice. Assuming this is the reason why I cannot book a Skype meeting within Outlook on MacBook Pro (see screenshots). Any assistance would be appreciated.1.2KViews0likes0CommentsSkype for business is not generating conference ID

We have been noticing a lag of receiving screen and app share content to endpoints when in a SfB meeting. Our HQ is in USA where our tenant is and the users are in Singapore, their user location is configured as Singapore. When making a direct call we are exchanging video, audio, and content stream within the usual tolerances, <100ms, <5ms jitter, 1% packet loss. When conferencing as a meeting, the content stream appears to pass through an IP that is registered in Redmond USA. While not as noticable to the users in the US, our users in Singapore are starting to ask if we can improve the performance. Are the RTC services (or the cloud equivalent), hosted in Redmond DCs only? Is there a way to modify the users pool to a location closer to Singapore for the Singapore users?1.2KViews0likes2Comments
