MS Teams roaming
Hi How does MS teams server know which country user is currently in when receiving a call on a landline number. For example, the user has UK landline number on teams account and if the user receives a call (while abroad), the caller get a ringing tone that is from abroad instead of normal UK ringtone. I suspect when the user register while abroad the servers recognise the IP of user which is not from UK or the the fact the the user registers to a non-UK Teams server because of DNS but I want to know precisely how it works please. Hallo, wir haben ein Problem mit der Freigabe von Dateien auf einem Windows Server 2016 in Verbindung mit Roaming Profiles und Offline Cache. Auf dem Server existiert ein Home-Share welcher für das Offline-Caching von Notebooks verwendet wird. Zusätzlich gibt es hier einen unternehmensweiten Profile-Share in dem auch der Appdata-Roaming Zweig abgelegt wird. Wenn sich ein Benutzer an einem System anmeldet wird ja das gesamte Profil vom Server geladen und beim Abmelden wieder zurückgeschrieben. Wir haben festgestellt, dass diese Dateien beim anmelden (Read) und beim Abmelden (Write) noch lange am Server in Verwendung sind (Open Files) obwohl hier bereits die Vorgänge am Client abgeschlossen wurden. Sollte sich der Benutzer nach erfolgter Anmeldung gleich wieder anmelden, kann es vorkommen, dass der Benutzer noch länger beim Anmelden warten muss - hier wird anscheinend die lesende Dateifreigabe am Server abgewartet. In einigen Fällen wurden auch temporäre Profile erstellt (Zeitüberschreitung!?). Hat jemand einen Vorschlag wie wir hier bei Profilen die Dateifreigabe am Server gleich nach Abschluss auslösen können? Die Tipps mit Oplocks und Leasing am Server ist etwas kritisch, da wir hier ja noch das Offline-Caching auf einen anderen Share am selben Server benötigen. Vielen Dank für eure Unterstützung. My Microsoft account I have had for 20 years is corrupt. I spent months with technical support and the Microsoft store trying to fix my computer. They told me it had a worm. So I went a bought a new computer. It was fine until I logged into my Microsoft account to get my email. Then that computer became corrupt. After much research I discovered that My account has certificates attached to it and a roaming profile that takes over any computer I access with my account and slowly completely takes over all of the files with corrupt ones. It locks me out of all the files and eventually I can't run any programs. Technical support doesn't know how or won't help me. I have belonged to the insider program for years. I am hoping someone can help me.
