We are starting to Use teams Webinars internally. We have created the webinar - all good Sent the invites (with registration link) - all good Customers and internal clients get an email notification when they register from ,email address removed for privacy reasons> which goes into users spam/junk - NOT GOOD Without asking every customer to add this to safe lists etc, is there a way to make this come from an address that is not detected as Spam? Anyone else got advice on this one? Thanks.Solved3.4KViews0likes4CommentsHow to create a meeting where only registrants can join.
We are offering a webinar to the public at a cost, and are looking for a way to control who is able to join the meeting. We want to accept registrations, but then only allow registrants to join the meeting. From my testing, limiting who can bypass the lobby to "People I invite" doesn't work, because they weren't technically invited to the meeting - they have registered to attend the webinar, but the meeting invite itself is only accessible by the organizer. Is there any workaround to automatically allow registrants to join a meeting, while denying access to anyone else? Hello dear community, I don't get why First name, Last name and Email are mandatory fields when creating a webinar for people in my org. From my unerstanding we already have the info and forcing them to double-encode their contact info is a waste of time. I would just want them to opt-in the webinar and maybe provide a glimpse on their expectation, but no dumb double encoding. Or at least we should have the information pre-filled... Or maybe am I missing something? Thanks!637Views0likes1CommentLive Event Registrations & Speakers
Hi all, I have to organize a webinar with Teams Live about once per month and I had a few questions that I couldn't find the answer to on the support website. Maybe you can help me here? 1. What is the maximum number of speakers that I can invite to my live event? 2. If I have to make changes to my webinar (e.g. add a speaker) will the registrations' link change for the attendees? I'm worried that I'll have to notify all registrants to that point if I make a few changes to the event. Which changes would cause the Link to change? I literally could not find an answer to these questions and I'm relatively new to this. Can someone help me out, please?529Views0likes0CommentsNew Webinar Management Experience not yet available in Public Preview
Hi All In this Tech Community post, it was indicated that the new Teams Webinar management experience will be available on public preview from the beginning of August. It's already end of September, and I still don't have it in my tenants. I have a need for the new features for a project. I am already subscribed to the public preview for a very long time. Please advise how I can get the new features on public preview in my tenant(s)? I currently run Teams Version 1.5.00.25719 on Windows 10 64 bit and last updated on September 19, 2022.Registered meeting without registration?
Hi everyone, How can i create a meeting that i can publicise using a link - in the same way registered meetings work, except i dont want them to fill out a form. I just want them to have the option of 'registering' ie putting it in their calendar via an email link, without me having to send an invite directly to them. We have recently setup an event that was initially set to Requiring registration "For people in your org" although we now would like to open it up to "For Everyone". When going back in to the event settings, we are unable to select the "For Everyone" option. The "For Everyone" option is turned on in our tenancy and is available for new events, although when changing this event the option is greyed out. How do we complete this action of changing an event registration restriction to be public or vice versa?Solved2.4KViews1like3CommentsEvent Cancelled, which wasn't cancelled
I had a serious 'snafu' which occurred in a webinar. We required registration for the webinar up to the final day. We decided to change it to no registration needed so that anyone who wants to attend last minute can just click on the link and enter. When we made the change 'Teams' sent an email to all those who had registered that the event was cancelled. No warning was given that this would happen and the event was not cancelled, only one of the properties changed. This has to be fixed.Solved3.1KViews0likes2CommentsMS Teams: how to I start from the beginning WITH THE SAME EMAIL
Hi, I really need some help, and the lack of information from Microsoft about this is driving me nuts. So, I have Teams with my personal Office 365 plan; when I registered at the beginning, I put the team's name as that of my work/university. Whenever I'd log in, that would be the only station I could select to click and log in. Okay, fine - no big deal as uni works with google & zoom. Now, I have more meetings with Mircosoft business users and have to use Teams. I tried to move that to a personal workspace, and when I send an invitation, they cannot accept it and get back to that because it directs them to the uni account, WHICH THEY DONT HAVE. Before doing this, I thought I deleted the uni team, but every time I log in again, the only option I get at first is the old team. I need access to my personal workspace team. I also know that people add me to their teams via my personal email (hotmail), but I DO NOT GET ANY NOTIFICATION about that. Can someone help me, please?! Thanks 🙂978Views0likes0Comments
