Hi all. I'm currently working on an integration with Project Online using a low code/no code product (that is capable of doing HTTP requests) and Project Online REST API using OAUth client credentials (Machine to Machine authentication). I'm a complete rookie to Project Online, can someone please point me in the direction of detailed documentation that: - Identifies what kind of license is required to access Project Online REST API - Identifies what (if any) needs to be configured on Project Online - Identifies what (if any) needs to be configured on SharePoint - Identifies the steps to get the OAuth token to interact with Project Online REST API Thanks in advance Vicente5.4KViews0likes3CommentsHow to display Work in days within Project Center - Projects page?
Hi all, I need to show Work in Days within the Project Center view under PWA (Project Online). I found on some old TechNet forum a very old thread with the same question dated 2011 stating that this is not possible. I wonder if in the last 10 years the problem has been resolved or if a workaround has been found out by someone. How do I show Work units in days within a "Project Center - Projects" view (whether it is a built-in view or a custom defined view)? Hi I am new to a Project Server 2013 to Project Online migration. When we try to create a site for an existing project (a project that was saved & published from Project Server 2013 to Project Online pwa) we get unable to create SharePoint site error. However, if we create a new project in Project Online using the EPT/Project site template it works. The migration is done manually & we have already explored using a 3rd party tool but the approval process to obtain 3rd party application licenses would be a 4 week process & the management doesnt have that kind of time. Any insight into why we are not able to create a SharePoint site for the existing projects would be much appreciated. Thank you!Solved2.1KViews0likes4CommentsAdding guest users to project sites in Project Online
We have enabled guest users in our O365 tenant, and frequently grant them access to normal SPO sites. But it doesn't seem to be possible to invite guest users to sites created as project sites under PWA, even though the PWA site collection has guest users turned on. Is it possible to collaborate with partners on projects in Project Online?2.1KViews0likes1CommentHow to find or how do we know who deleted the projects from project center or Delete Enterprise Obje

Hi all, We recently added a new domain and on-prem identity sync to our Microsoft 365 tenant. This has royally screwed up Project online for our users, and it was only after the fact that I read that UPN & Domain changes are not supported for Project Online - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/projectonline/step-2-add-people-to-project-online User are experiencing "access denied" to various project pages, even though the permissions for the account are setup correctly. I assume this is a disconnect from their old UPN/domain. Anyway my question is, what are our options now? Seems a bit crazy that once project online is setup that a tenants domain or UPN can never been changed??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I posted a blog on a few reasons why a PWA might go read-only - that main new one I was highlighting was for those customers who only have a Project Online Essentials license(s) which isn't enough to keep the site alive and it will get de-provisioned. We now male sure that the site will go read only - so that you know something is wrong and can get the correct licenses (add a Project Online Professional and/or Premium license) and then the site will come out of read-only.
