Hello, Video playback is not working when publishing a screen recording directly in the browser. The video just has a spinning circle on it after being published. If the video is downloaded during review, then uploaded, it works. It appears to be an issue with screen recordings more than a minute long. This is an issue for multiple users, and we've tried both Chrome and Edge browsers. Thanks, CharlesSolvedPersistent Sound issue Teams
After some troubleshooting, and hearing that multiple of my colleagues have the same issue, I thought I'd share here. It basically kills teams as a conversational tool for me, and it appears to be a specific teams issue. Issue: Upon entering a call/teams-meeting all sound cuts out from all playback devices. The moment you leave a call, sound works again and you even hear the 'hang up' sound. Observations: It seems to block all sounds, I've tried with 2 separate BT devices. It blocks sound out, but the system appears to register sound unabated. The green bars in the volume mixer still go up and down for every application, including teams. To confirm this I made a loopback recording, and the sound is still registered by the system. Teams seems to make some sort of windows-override between the software and the hardware layer. Stops the moment you 'leave' the call, so it is an override that only occurs once you enter a call. Even if I choose the option 'join without audio', the issue happens. Only the desktop app affects it, the teams web interface doesn't make the issue. What I've tried: Rebooting worked once, but than the issue recurred after a few minutes Rebooting again stopped working to resolve the issue Re-installing sound devices make no difference, issue persists Re-installing teams once managed to solve the issue, but it recurred after a few minutes Re-installing teams stopped working to resolve the issue Switching or selecting different playback devices makes no difference. Disabling, or removing sound editing application (NVIDIA Broadcast) makes no difference.1.8KViews1like1CommentView permissions in Stream
As a University our teachers make educational video's which they use for several years. The owner has to specifically set view permissions for each new class each semester or the new student can't view the video. Alternatively there is the option to make the video viewable for the whole university. Because a lot of teachers don't want to have their video public within the organization, we need an option to share a video with a link or embed code that bypasses the viewing permissions OR need an extra option when you choose to "Allow everyone in your company to view this video" to not have it appear in the Discover tab in Stream. In short: YouTube has the option to set a video on private, hidden or public. We are missing the hidden option in Stream. I'm looking for a way to re-route all pc sound to my sonos speakers. They are connected via w-fi and / or bluetooth. They are located on either 192.168.0. 6 through 8. Is there a way to re-route my sound? Surround sound seems to be limited to within headphones. I'm not looking for anything fancy. Please advise. Thanks in advance! That video couldn't be found.
I have recorded meetings in Teams which I have downloaded and manually uploaded to Stream. The videos have processed successfully and been published - I can watch them back in full in Stream with all features (transcripts etc). However, when I click on the 'Share' feature and select 'Embed' I get a "That video couldn't be found." error. The same error appears when I embed these videos into a Sharepoint site and I try to watch them back. BUT - when other users access the same Sharepoint pages, they CAN watch the videos back. It seems like me (the owner of the videos and the Sharepoint pages) is the only person who gets the error. Any advice on why this might be happening?
