Dear community, We are an Indirect Provider in CSP located in Greece, and we have the following requests from one of our partners: 1. Could you kindly advise if our partners can cancel all the existing RIs with immediate effect? 2.If the answer on point 1 yes and they can do so, then will there be a cancellation fee/penalty upon cancelling the Reserved Instances? Thank you in advance for your prompt response as we need to sort it the soonest! Best regards,2.5KViews0likes5CommentsBecoming a Microsoft AI Cloud Partner
I am looking for help with completing the process for signing my company up as a Microsoft AI Cloud Partner. I have been directed to https://partner.microsoft.com/en-US/partnership, where I select "Become a Partner". I go through the process as instructed but hit a dead end when I arrive at the "Join a program..." https://partner.microsoft.com/en-us/dashboard/account/exp/enrollment/programselector/basicpartnernetwork/firmographic/options/101/1004. Note that this page offers only two options (Bethesda Partner Program, Windows and Xbox), neither of which is appropriate for me and both of which I am not eligible to join (even if I wanted to). For the program for which I am interested (Microsoft AI Cloud Partner) the page says "...Sign in again using your work account." So it may be that the site does not recognize my account as a work account. Unfortunately, the instructions provided for creating a work account (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/mpn-overview and https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/intro-to-cloud-partner-program-membership) direct me back to the partner page at the beginning of this post. So I am stuck in an infinite loop. I have reached out to partner support, Azure support and Azure sales. Everyone directs me to the same above referenced partner page and/or advises me to log a support request. When I did the latter I received a response with a link to the same partner page. I would greatly appreciate any guidance beyond a link to the partner page that is not working for me. I acknowledge that the root cause MAY be my own user error. But a few minutes with a knowledgable guide would be a lot more productive than many hours of detective work.2.5KViews0likes9CommentsProject Management with Gen AI

Make the Teams call with the developer and discuss the progress/challenges (One to one call & group call) Attend customer meeting calls, prepare meeting notes and share them with all the participants. Make the phone call (VOIP) to employees/developers/customers/contractors for the project/task update. Attending customer calls/ Team calls to understand the requirements and create a project scope document.1.8KViews0likes2CommentsMultichannel Support - EA's and Direct CSPs
If you go to this article, https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/multichannel, you will see that it states near the bottom the following: “For a customer who already has a subscription to Microsoft Azure from another channel (such as Advisor, Open, or EA), create a new Azure subscription in Partner Center, manually enter the subscription details, and then cancel the individual services or the entire subscription. Azure CSP can coexist with different channels.” Well, we have a customer on an Enterprise Agreement (EA) through SHI, and my company is a direct CSP. So, I am wondering if anyone out there can answer the following: 1) Can you please elaborate on how we as a Direct CSP executes this process? 2) Will we be able to recognize revenue from this? 3) Any other critical pieces of information I should know? Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! SteveSolved1.6KViews0likes8CommentsChanges to IP Co-Sell Process
Not sure if this is the right forum but i will try my luck. In the last few months we have seen a major change in the way IP Co-Sell deals are processed. In the past we were connected directly to sellers once the deal was accepted and now we have to go through a new process where we first have to work with an outsourcing company before the deal is accepted. This new process takes weeks and is causing problems with our ability to co-sell with Microsoft. Is anyone else seeing this change?1.2KViews0likes2CommentsAzure Specialization Query
Hello, We are a solutions partner that is looking at obtaining a couple of advanced specializations in the Azure tracks. I have a couple of queries that I think are unclear from the checklists: In the case of required evidence from customer projects for the various controls in the audit checklist, is it acceptable to have evidence from multiple customers for the various controls? Or do we need to satisfy the requirements across all controls for the same set of customers? Believe that customer projects cited across Module A and B can be different. Pls confimr my understanding. Is there a standard template available from/recommended by MSFT that is available for documentary evidence? Asking this for assets like Project Plan, Functional Specifications, Solution Design Documents, Architectural Diagram etc Also are all of these required evidences mandatory for fulfilling the requirement of each control? Or do we provide some of them? I know this post is long, but any direction/guidance here would be sincerely appreciated. Thx!833Views1like4CommentsExported records for Marketplace Private offers
Hello Team, My partner would like to have an export/ Private Offer record for the private offers that customers accept in Azure Marketplace transactions. Is there such a functionality/ who could help creating one if also meaningful for you? Additional Partner Info:...we are not the only partners transacting via Private Offer functionality, who need a clear documented record of the private offer acceptance, other than the green check-marks in the Partner Center. However, so far it seems there is no built in functionality.646Views2likes0CommentsOld Usage-Based Pricelists
Dear Community, We are an Indirect Provider in CSP, and we are facing an issue that has its roots in the past. Based on this, we need to find past usage-based pricelists of Azure. Does anyone of you perhaps keep historical records of the Azure prices excel as it gets published every month by Microsoft? We need the 3 Pricelist Excels published between August-October (inclusive) 2022 for charges to occur between September-November (inclusive) 2022, respectively! We would definetely be eternally grateful if you have them! Much appreciated in advance for your help. Hi folks We are facing a partner-to-partner CSP transition - we are the new partner, and we found out that the customer has a Sendgrid marketplace subscription from the previous partner. Do you know if this is a straightforward transfer, or does it fall under the marketplace limitations listed here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/customers/transfer-azure-subscriptions-under-azure-plan#considerations Thank you551Views0likes2CommentsAzure marketplace offer questions
I have created an Azure Marketplace offer with a flat fee pricing model and added dimensions, where the usage is based on the user count. The payment is set to a monthly schedule. Example I have configured a dimension in my Azure Marketplace offer to calculate billing based on the number of users in my SaaS application. For example: If the SaaS application has 10 users, the billing will be calculated as 10 users × $19 = $190. If the user count changes (e.g., from 10 users in January to 8 users in February), I will report the updated user count as usage. This ensures the billing reflects the exact number of active users each month. Questions: How it will work on Azure Marketplace offer and per the below offer plan and how invoice will be generated? If I report usage daily, will the charges be calculated on a daily basis, or will they be aggregated for the month? Do I need to send usage on daily basis or once in a month? Where can I view the total usage reported to date in the Azure portal? Below is screenshot of my test plan444Views1like3Comments
