I have admin-deployed Copilot for Sales via M365 Intergrated App process. After about a week, we started getting dozens of users with an error message in the sidepane within Outlook. It simply states "We can't start this add-in because it isn't set up properly." I have tried to compare users who have the issue vs users who don't have the issue, but they appear to be on the same versions of Outlook (16.0.17531.20152). The addin was deployed on May 9th and issues started coming in around May 20th and I can't seem to find any rhyme or reason to some users error. What is also confusing is the addin technically "works", it just constantly is generating that error every time they open a new emailSolvedSales CoPilot - Email Attachments dont appear in timeline when saving the email to D365 from Outlook
Hi Currently having some trouble seeing attachments associated to the email in the Timeline related to the record I am saving the email to. Has anyone else experiences this? is this a product limitation or is there a setting that needs to be turned on somewhere? Thanks in advance AysenSolvedAdd custom entities to Viva Sales through the new forms customization

The purpose of this post is to inform you about a recent issue in the Viva Sales Outlook Side-Panel that customers might get exposed to. For additional information, review the following troubleshooting guide: Update add-in error in Viva Sales for Microsoft Outlook - Microsoft Support WHO IS AFFECTED? All Viva Sales users, including: Windows & Mac Users Outlook Web & Desktop Users User Installed & Admin Installed instances SYMPTOMS Viva Sales Outlook users will see an error indicating “An update to this add-in is available that requires your review and confirmation to install” when opening the Viva Sales Outlook Side-Panel, which ultimately blocks them from using Viva Sales (even though there are ways to get temporarily unblocked). Additionally, users can see an error message when scheduling a Teams Meeting, though we don’t have a consistent repro for this specific scenario. On the Outlook Web Client (OWA), when the user clicks the “Update” button it launches a new browser window and navigates to the “Viva Sales for Microsoft Outlook” screen on the “Add-Ins for Outlook” popup window. The user will still see the error message in the new browser window but see the Viva Sales Outlook Side-Panel in the original browser window. Upon refresh of the browser, the user will continue to see the original error message. On the Outlook Desktop Client, when the user clicks the “Update” button there is a subsequent error message indicating “The add-in is currently upgrading. Please chose the current message or appointment, and re-open in a few moments.”. Once the user closes the side-panel and re-opens it Viva Sales will temporarily work until the user closes/reopens the client, at which point the error re-occurs. ROOT CAUSE: This seems related to how the Outlook client handles certain type of version updates that include permission changes to the Viva Sales Outlook Add-In. We have since reverted the change back to minimize the customer impact of the issue. RESOLUTION & WORK AROUND: The issue will self-resolve for all tenants within the next 72 hours. In the interim, customers can mitigate the issue through the following means: For User Installed instances of Viva Sales, the user can simply un-install and re-install the add-in via the Outlook Add-In flow. For Admin Installed instances of Viva Sales, the admin has to un-install and re-install the add-in via the admin.microsoft.com portal. However, it will take 24 hours for the changes to take affect for all users.Add-in warning / "currently upgrading"
Hi All -- I'm enjoying my test/experiment with Viva Sales (Preview) + D365 integration in Outlook. I appreciate the modern/streamlined experience. This week I got a notice that the plugin was being upgraded and I'm seeing across multiple machines the same error -- "Add-in Warning This add-in is currently upgrading. Please close the current message or appointment, and re-open in a few moments." 1) I try closing and reopening, with no improvemnet 2) I've reproduced the problem on multiple machines (only 1 user account though) 3) The warning task pane for the warning is a separate pane than the Viva Sales (Preview) pane. Meaning, in my interface I have the email being drafted, a viva sales pane, and the add-in warning pane. 4) I've approved & re-approved the add-in via the app installer site (I forget its exact name). Curious if anyone is seeing this and/or has resolved it.Outlook Plugin Not Loading
Hi I have recently enabled Viva Sales within Outlook desktop, however the app will not load with a debugging error as below. Line: 76 Error: Office.js has not fully loaded. Your app must call "Office.onReady()" as part of it's loading sequence (or set the "Office.initialize" function). If your app has this functionality, try reloading this page. The plugin works fine within OWA. Regards Alan
