O365
5 TopicsNeed Information on Microsoft Teams O365 Management API
Hi Community, I was exploring the Office 365 Management Activity API documentation- https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/office-365-management-api/office-365-management-activity-api-reference and came across a few queries. I hope someone can help clarify these: Maximum Volume of Data: What is the maximum volume of data (e.g., MB/GB per day) that we can retrieve using the Office 365 Management API for Microsoft Teams? Is there any specific limit documented? Filtering Logs by Workload: When sending requests to the Office 365 Management API, how can I fetch logs specific to Microsoft Teams? I tried applying the filter Workload: MicrosoftTeams in the request, but it also returned logs for other workloads. Below is the API URL I used for the request: https://manage.office.com/api/v1.0/<TENANT-ID>/activity/feed/audit/<contentID> I checked the documentation but couldn’t find specific guidance on these points. Can anyone provide insights or share examples of how to resolve these issues? Thank you in advance!153Views0likes2CommentsContact sync issues with teams
Hello All, I am having a weird issue with Teams pulling down contact details. I think I narrowed it down but need help finding a solution. First it started with when we updated the phone numbers of our users they were showing up in the Teams admin console but wouldn't update on the clients. We figured out we needed to have the users sign out and back in and found that fixed the majority of issues. The remaining issues seem to be if users have a similar contact in their personal contacts in outlook it seems to cause Teams to not want to update from the O365 contact in the cloud. So several users who have been around for a while and have put contacts in their contacts in outlook are not updating. It seems it looks first to the local outlook contacts for the contact cards and stops there. So has anyone seen this issue before and figured out a way to always have the teams client pull contact cards from O365 first and not look anywhere else.28KViews0likes4CommentsIssue loging into a Teams tenant where I am invited
Hello all, I'm having a problem which bothers me a lot! I can login to Teams on my Organization, but I can't join a tenant where I am invited. I correctly reveived the invitation email, I correctly see that the tenant has been added to Teams in the right top corner, with notifications in it, but whenever I click on it, it tries to login but fails each time, both on the client app, and the web app. After all, I have to login again to my own organization. Another problem I'm having, is that I created a Microsoft account with my professional email adresse, BEFORE having O365. So with the same email address, I now have 2 accounts: one with O365, one "personal". It's SO annoying because some app needs the O365 one, and some app works with the personal one (like some Excel Sheets shared). How can I merge the 2 accounts, and stop this mess?! I already tried what was said online (to rename it...etc.) but still doesn't work, and still having access issues with some files. I guess the issue with Teams comes from it as well. Another example, I couldn't create this login on my professional one, I had to click on the personnal one...so stupid! Please help, I'm getting very angry about Microsoft on this point. I added the Home page of my Office 365 Group as a tab to Teams via SharePoint. Seems like all of the functionality works, except the links I created on the page. I click them and it goes to a blank screen. Nothing works with links internal or external into the company. I did see that selecting RSS feed links and direct links to YouTube functioned, but any link I select on the Office 365 Group Home page that is a tab in teams does not work. Any suggestions?1.1KViews1like1Comment
