Hey community, We have set up the Confluence Cloud Connector for MS Search and are faced with the problem that the search results show content that the respective user is not authorized for in Confluence. Users log in to Confluence with their Entra ID data - we have SSO enabled. The E-Mail-ID of the users in Confluence matches with the UPN in Entra ID. The permissions in Confluence have been defined at the space and page level. We configured "Only people with access to this data source" can see results. Do you have further ideas, what could cause our problem? Best regards, Tanja744Views0likes2CommentsSharePoint Search Including Path as Metadata
Our files in SharePoint are organised in a very structured manner, for example: \{Client Name}\Legal\Contract.docx \{Client Name}\Proposals\20230914-RFP-{Project Name}.docx If I search for "Client Name Contract" I would like the first document to return. But instead it picks some seemingly random PowerPoint presentation that must mention the terms. At worst I would like to be able to search for "Client Name Legal" and get the folder. I can search "Legal" but I get every client variation. Is there anyway to include the file path as metadata that is searchable? In our case all clients are in a single Document library, we have debated splitting them into Client Sites. But on the face of it our problems will be worse. At least today we can navigate a simple folder structure. Thanks673Views1like1CommentMicrosoft Search in Bing extension for Google Chrome changed default search engine
Last week we enabled the Microsoft Search in Bing extension for Google Chrome. Today a user reported that, when it was installed, it changed his default search engine to Bing and it is greyed out so he can't change it back. This document https://learn.microsoft.com/en-US/deployoffice/microsoft-search-bing says that users can change their default search engine back to what they want but the toggle is also greyed out for him. Any idea how to allow users to change their search settings?801Views0likes2CommentsSearch & intelligence locations
Hi All, I've started adding locations to our Search & intelligence, we have some sites that are on corners, the pin however is on the opposite corner to our building. Is it possible to set the actual lat/long, or should i try to work out the buildings street number instead. Cheers Rob898Views1like0CommentsConfiguring Graph agent for file share
Hi There I am configuring the Microsoft search for a file share datasource. My on-prem agent comes up in the configuration wizard, however my on-prem file share is not being recognised. It is saying that Root Folder is not reachable. I am also escaping the slashes so for \\lab\fileshare becomes \\\\lab\\fileshare as described in the documentation. Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.1.2KViews1like1Comment
