Live Event
6 TopicsLive Event Guest user add new background
Hi, A user has been added as a guest to our tenant, so that they can present in our Teams Live Event. All of this has been set up correctly, the user can enter as a presenter and everything is as expected. However, the user needs to add their own background to their video feed, to keep everyone's backgrounds consistent. We have instructions on how to do this, by clicking the "Add new" button at the top of the background settings menu. They can access the background settings menu, however there is no "add new" button. This works on my own account and is available for us. I tested it with another guest account and again there is no "add new" button. I assume this is something to do with being a guest user. Is there a way to resolve this for Live Events, as the user needs this option. Thanks11KViews1like3CommentsTeams Live Event/Hybrid Event - Program Video
Hello, We have been doing Live Events regularly for the last 2 years but with people returning to to workplace a need has arisen for "Hybrid" events where we would still be sending a Live Event out but there will also be people in a large meeting room (where most of the presenters will be going live from) - What I am looking for is a way to have the "program" video on screens within the room without the 30 second delay of the "Attendee View" - I can put a Producer view on the screen. but I would much prefer to be able to pull out a "live" program view.... Any thoughts?2.1KViews0likes3CommentsMS 365 Business licences can't join Teams Live Event as Presenter/Producer, but Free licences can
Ever since late 2020, I've been unable to successfully have MS 365 Business licence users participate as Presenters or Producers in Teams Live Events. Here are the steps I've gone through (which worked fine for most of 2020, but not now): Set-up Steps Set-up Teams Live Event on Acme.com Enterprise licence tentant (set event to public) Added all Presenters/Producers (some internal Teams E1/E3/E5 licencees on Acme.com, some external Teams E1/E3/E5 licencees, some Teams Free licencees) to a Team Invited all the above as Presenters/Producers to the Live Event Verified that all invitees Accepted the invitation to the Team and the Event Verified that all invitees can see the "Acme.com" organisation (& team) in their Teams app Results Organisation MS Licence Type Can join as Producer/Presenter Notes Acme.com 365 E1/E3/E5 Yes External 365 E1/E3/E5 Yes External 365 Business No joins as Attendee only External Outlook.com / Teams Free Yes Notes I have met all the requirements of https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/teams-live-events/plan-for-teams-live-events I have met all the requirements for https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/teams-live-events/plan-for-teams-live-events Why aren't Teams Live Events allowing MS 365 Business Licences to participate as Producers/Presenters?1.4KViews0likes5CommentsTeams Live event - Easy External presenters
Hi, Is this now a thing: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/allow-anonymous-presenters-in-a-live-meeting-af38c662-e9b3-4b7c-bfee-073c4a6147a3 I've lost hours of my life trying to get external presenters in to our Teams Live events. Those who don't have at least a free account need to set one up and accept the invitation to our tenancy as a guest. Those who already use Teams seem still to need to accept an invitation into our tenancy as a guest. The former then gets wrapped up in a world of authentication pain while the latter seem unable to either sign out of teams in order to sign back in using our invitation, or accept into a 2nd tenancy in Teams to allow them access. All of these then still hit a wall when they have to accept our terms and conditions for use on Teams. Am I missing the easy, straightforward path to getting external presenters into our live events? The above link suggests changes coming in May however we're now in May and I've seen no change in the Teams Live event booking page. Please help! Dear all, I have a couple of questions regarding the new Teams Live-Events with RTMP ingest (using an external encoder). So far I´ve been using MS Stream live-events for professional livestreams with an external encoder and it worked great. But since the Stream live-events will be shut down at some point this year, I have to make the switch to the Teams live-events (with RTMP ingest). Is there an option to disable all automatic audio enhancement functions (like noise reduction, etc.)? If I stream music/spoken language to the live-event it doesn´t sound as good as with the Microsoft Stream live-events. Do teams live-events with RTMP ingest offer a buffer in case one of the viewers has an internet problems? Because to me it seems like the RTMP In live-events work rather like a general Teams Video-Call, so that in case of internet problems the audio will still be audible and the image will freeze. Usually streaming platforms have a buffer that will be filled to prevent audio-video dropouts. How do live-events in MS Teams in general differ from the live-events in MS Stream? Thanks in advance for your help! Best regards.962Views1like1CommentOffice 365 Groups Issue with Live Event
We are seeing an issue when trying to add an Office 365 group when scheduling a Live Event. This issue is that no Office 365 Group is showing when using the People & Group option to send out the Live Event invite. What is odd is that when you create a Teams meeting853Views0likes1Comment
