HDMI
5 Topics[LAPTOP]is it possible to go through BIOS/Safe mode screens using external screen using HDMI cable?
Hello, I am new to this site so tell me if i do something wrong. I have encountered a problem that has been with me for few years. Long time ago i broke my laptop screen, and am forced to use external screen since then, using HDMI cable. (only available port on the laptop) The main broken screen still acts like it is working, but is not usable. external screen is detected as 2nd screen. i successfully set it up to show like a main screen, but it does not work outside of awake system state. And here is the problem. everything happening in BIOS, recovery screen, Windows update - all stuff that is happening outside of normal running state of the computer is only showing on the main, broken screen. It is incredibly difficult to navigate through menus in this state. There were cases where magically it would show on external screen but it happened for a very short period of time and did not know the cause. also happened quite a long time ago so i don't remember too much. Solution I am looking for is to get external monitor/screen working through HDMI in BIOS and similiar stuff. Here is some basic information about my device: -Laptop model: Huawei MateBook D (2019) -System: Windows 10 Home I will be happy to cooperate to reach my solution.725Views0likes4CommentsYealink HDMI ingest - lag and call failure
We have many Yealink MVC800ii and MVC840 MTR systems running in our meeting rooms. We're seeing real issues with HDMI ingest, particularly using the HDMI cable that connects to the MTouch II panel, and less so when using the WPP20 wireless dongle - but both are not working optimally. The usual pattern is that either presenting or sharing content (both scenarios are affected) works until around 50-60mins into a call/meeting then things start getting really laggy. Mouse moves or slide navigation are delayed and not seen on the front-of-room displays or by external participants for several seconds. The delay then starts to extend to 30+seconds, usually resulting in the call eventually dropping and the MTR needing to be restarted. This is happening in different rooms, to different users using different models of laptop and when sharing content stored locally on their devices as well as opened directly from M365 services such as SharePoint or OneDrive. All indications point towards a problem with the in-room kit, like a memory leak. All of our systems have fully up-to-date software and firmware and I've confirmed that they are restarting nightly via the 02:01 scheduled task. Other than Extron CTL100 workplace controllers installed in some of the affected rooms, there is no 3rd-party hardware involved in the MTR set-up, its all standard Yealink kit. We've swapped out components, cables, and even factory reset and rebuilt some systems. Call activity and system health shown in the TAC rarely show any issues. Sometimes there is a report of 'poor' audio quality in some (not all) of the affected meetings, but generally everything appears 'healthy' or 'good'. Has anyone experienced these symptoms (with Yealink or other manufacturers)? Or any ideas on what to try? It's now a real problem for us as we open more MTR equipped rooms.20KViews0likes19CommentsTeams Room Teams call - Hide local HDMI content
we need the ability to stop sharing HDMI content plugged into our Teams Room system without needing to disconnect the HDMI cable from the device. . When an HDMI device is plugged in to the system, the content shares automatically to the display in the room . You can hit stop presenting and it will stop sharing the content, until you start a Teams meeting. Once the meeting is started, the HDMI In content shows on the in room display over all camera feeds from remote participants. You can show thumbnails of participants with the gallery view but can't make them the focus. The only way to stop showing the HDMI In content on the in-room display in a Teams Meeting is to unplug the HDMI device This is because we use always connected sahring devices like the Polycom pano - or a room PC IN a skype call on the devices we can turn off HDMI input from the touchpad and the video feeds then go to full screen on the room display12KViews1like6CommentsWhen HDMI settings are adjusted The video connection is lost
Hi, im running on a ABS Desktop and windows 11. Every time I change the settings on where the audio comes from, Headphones to TV, the Tv looses signal to the computer for 2 seconds then trys to desplay again for 3 seconds then it goes back to "no signal detected". Ill get a glimpse at what ever tabs were open for a half second every once and awhile. Things ive tried to fix. Change tvs Change HDMI ports/cords Scan for updates Power off Power on. apporx 2 hard shutdowns and i get to poke around in the computer for a moment before it begins the works/doesnt dance. Does anyone have any ideas as to what it could be? perhaps a setting or a bad update? Faulty hardware? motherboard or graphics cards. Maybe the Fire TV needs a brick? Anything at this point will be helpful, Thanks in advance.595Views0likes0CommentsExternal Display Not Detected
