Can't invite deleted Guest User "We ran into an issue. Please try again later."
Good morning Microsoft community We have to delete an Guest-User from our AD and reinvite the Guest-User into a team - the reason is a workaround for a PowerBI problem. I have a short, but for me an unsolveable question: I deleted the Guest-User and permanently deleted him inside of the "deleted users". After more than 24h i tried to reinvite him into a team. What now happens, is that he still get listed in the memberdropdown menu and if i click on him, the following message appears. As information: I cant just type his mailadress inside the invitation-box, without picking his saved mailadress from the dropdown-list - otherwise it doesn't recognize a new guest-user. Guest User added team should not be allowed to search internal contact and start chatting with them?
first I recently added some guest users to active directory and added them to our team as member. it was nightmare as they can search any our domain user in contacts and start chatting with them. secondly, we tried to share sharepoint library folder to external user, and they become team members. it become nightmare for me to share dozen of large files with our external clients. how i should overcome this issue?
Guest users change to Member when I add them to a new channel
Hi, I have several guest users in my Teams. For any reason that I don't know, when I try to add this users into a channel, some of them, automatically change their rol to Member instead of guest user. Have somebody any idea about this behaviour? Regards
Guest accounts unwanted
We have been trying to set up teams free and in general it works great. We are up to about 80 users and they are all external email customers (@gmail, @hotmail, @yahoo, etc). Out of those users we have about 10 users that are assigned as guest and not members. We have not found a way to change this. We only want members and owners in Teams. Guest users cannot be made into an owner or member. We have tried to delete those accounts on both Teams and Azure. They still remain as add as guest only and not a member.
