Weighted Answers in 2 Survey Pages adding up to a end value.
Hello there, new to MS Form and Power Automate so bear with me on this one: Part of an Ideas Survey, requires a user to complete a 'Survey Page' where there are 7 Questions with 4 possible choices. 1 Choice per Question, each Choice is weighted Option 1= 0 Option 2= 1 Option 3 = 2 Option 4 = 5 Once answered, should give a value of the sum of weighted answers... so 3 Question have option 3, 2 questions were answered option 2 and 2 were answered option 4. totaling 18 A second survey page very similar weighted options to the questions. What these values I would need to utilise to find a reference based on a Grid of Values. 1 to 35 along and 1 to 21 Up, the values in the survey would be used to gauge 18 cells along and , lets say 15 rows up. In that specific Cell would be a Reference. something like H15 a Formula would be something Like if Survey1 Value >15 then H, <=15 and >=10 then M, >=0 to <10 then L Then it would be to concat the value of the of that plus the Survey 2 Value. How, would I go about doing that? Just from messing about, it would have to be a triggered Power Automate to then add to a variable, then after that no idea. Anyone able to do this and to help with a step by step? Much appreciated. Mike.
"Allow respondents to edit their responses" does not fire flow trigger
New Option "Allow respondents to edit their responses" is added. https://www.microsoft.com/ja-jp/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=&searchterms=124819 But flow doesn't fire when answer is edited and submitted. This makes no sense...Also test the connector, plz.
Validating consent on MS Forms
I'm creating new forms which will capture children attending activities and needs to be approved by a parent. The old way was to have the parent sign and authorise participation. Can anyone in the community think of a way to do this with MS Forms which would meet legal requirements that a proper person has authorised the form instead of the child completing the form on behalf of the parent?
Excel Does Not Sync Until Opened
I created a form linked to an Excel spreadsheet in SharePoint as well as a Power Automate approval flow triggered on submission. In addition to sending out confirmation/approval emails, the flow also updates the associated Excel spreadsheet with the approval/denial. The flow was working fine until last week but since then has failed 2 consecutive times. The failures appear to be related to the flow unable to find the automatically generated submission ID in the Excel spreadsheet. When I open the linked spreadsheet, the submission is not immediately present at first but the file does sync at that point and the entry appears. When re-triggered after the sync, the flow completes successfully. Not sure if it is related, but MS form/linked spreadsheets have been updated by Microsoft recently and I was prompted to go through an update process for synced Excel spreadsheets. I completed the update with this specific form last week after the flow failed for the first time. TLDR - my form only syncs with the spreadsheet once opened. Any ideas how to get MS Forms to update the spreadsheet in real-time as opposed to when it is opened?Query Forms API to get scores or results from form submission
Hello All, May be one for the Forms/Dev Community but thought I would try here. We have a process where 4 forms are submitted weekly (Every week has 4 new forms). We currently gather responses into a SPO list and feed that in PowerBI. A new requirement has come in that the forms (which are quizzes) also need to push the scores to SPO. We have done this with conditionals to check the text of the correct answers but the workload for this is unmanageable. I know there is a forms Api (undocumented) and we have successfully queried it to get the quiz questions, but these doesn't seem to be any info in there about the right answer. My question is, is it possible to query the forms API to get the response points, either total or per question? Included is the starting point, just need to know if anyone knows the URI to get what we need.
Assign an email adress on an option in MS Form
Hi. New here. I just started using MS Form and Workflow to automate requesting study for new projects. I made a form where you will type in project name, location, system to use, etc. Two of the options in this form are the names of the Salesman and the Draftsman that will do the project that the salesman will assign to. My problem is that upon completion of the form, workflow has the flow of: when a new respose is submitted -> Get response -> Create a task in planner -> Send an email. For the create task, I want the draftsman that will be picked in the form will be the one assigned in the planner including the salesman who filled up the form. Next is sending a custom email, with dynamic content highlighting the response on the form and sending that email to the draftsman that the salesman picked in the MS Form. Is it possible to have this kind of flow? If yes, please shed some light on how I can accomplish this. Thanks bunch.
Power Automate Error - Microsoft Forms Email
I have followed directions from other users to set up an automated email with attachments and a custom email body, which seems to have worked except when it tries to complete one section. I cannot find the error. When I entered the 'json' it automatically corrected from "item" to "name" dynamic function and now won't run.
