Using search function with array input to categorize rows
Hi ! I am trying to use a combination of search, isnumber, match and index to categorize rows. The category is supposed to be displayed on the same row. I have seen the combination used for the exact same purpose that I need it for, but it doesn't work. I have broken up the formulas, and it seems the search function doesn't return array result as I would expect. The match function needs an array, and fails. At least that's what seems to be the problem. I have used Ctrl+Shift+Enter, and the braces are present around the formula. I would be super happy if you could assist me in solving this puzzle. Attached is a sample sheet. The formula is insertes as text, since it doesn't "compile". Both in norwegian and english version. By the way, I am using Office 365

adding certain filtered numbers
if i have filtered 5 top numbers - eg 3,3.3,2,2,4,4,4,5 but i only want to add the 5 numbers that have the highest value - 5+4+4+4+3 - how do i do that in excel?

Problem with IFS Formula
Hi, I have written the following formula: =IFS(F118>89,"A",F118>79,"B",F118>69,"C",F118>59,"D",TRUE,"F") The value for F118 is 92 (that cell has the following formula: =AVERAGE(F55,F116)). The formula ONLY returns the value F. I have tried any number of combinations for cell 118 (including doing away with the formula and just putting in a number) and iterations of the formula. Yet it still returns only an F. I cannot figure out where I am missing it and would appreciate some help. Thanks, Barry

How to mass highlight data
Hello! I have basic ability when it comes to Excel. I need to examine data that was transferred to a Pivot Table. In one column, there are many different categories under four character codes. In another column are basically 11 sub-categories. I need to find a way to easily highlight the data that does not belong together. As an example, in the first column, there could be items like 03AB, 7715, 5616, 18AE. In the second column, some examples would be Missing Activity, Login Issues, Tech Support. Some of the items in the second column should ONLY be matched to certain items in the first column, and I need to point out the errors. It is too much data and too tedious to go through it line by line as I did last month (took over 14 hours....) Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
