As a frequent participant in Teams meetings, I need to indicate to other attendees that I am "away" so that I can step out for a short time without interrupting the call. With this, I could grab a beverage refill or take a restroom break when necessary. Other participants would know that I'm unavailable for that time. Entering a message in the chat often feels disruptive, or even rude to the active speaker. I'd like to see an icon similar the Raised Hand icon that indicates I will be right back. For example, I've observed that many businesses use the coffee mug emoji in WebEx to serve this purpose.Solved8.3KViews2likes7CommentsIs there anyone looking at SharePoint's UserVoice?
I just looked at the SharePoint's UserVoice and saw no update from the Microsoft Team in 2020 to the top requests. Is there someone looking at these requests? For example, https://sharepoint.uservoice.com/forums/329214-sites-and-collaboration/suggestions/20029231-make-rename-in-teams-reflect-name-changes-in-share was last updated in may 2019. In the comments, a user added a link to the same issue handled by the Teams team https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/16934143-rename-of-team-channel-doesn-t-rename-associated-s this one was updated in february 2020. Please, give some attention to SharePoint too. Teams is important but SP deserves some resources. Community help a lot with all the PnP stuff but we need improvements in native features. There's a chromium fork called Cent Browser, which have a feature that allow users to search for selected text in non-default search engines, by right-clicking and choose "Search other engines for" submenu. I used to use this browser and changed to edge for a year, and every time I have to copy.the text and paste into the address bar to search with a specific SE. It'll make Edge more powerful if there's such a submenu in Edge, and a selector on the search sidebar, and if possible, a SE selector in address bar just like Firefox, as not everybody can memorize all SEs in their browser. It'll be even better if there's a hide option to hide some of the SEs from the submenu and selectors (still can be used by abbr. + Tab key).1KViews1like2Comments
