Good day, I have just finished setting up our Lenovo ThinkSmart Hub500. Creating the room and users account as per MS instructions is all done and Teams Room is logged in. I can start a new meeting and project but no meetings are showing up. At the top it says "Cannot Fetch Calendar". What are we doing wrong? Thanks.137KViews0likes46CommentsSkype for Business messaging skype user due to 'company policy'
We can successfully add regular Skype users to our Skype for Business contacts list but when we try to communicate with them we get the following message: "This message wasn't sent to xxxx yyyy due to company policy." I've checked in the Skype for Business admin center and made sure that the public IM connectivity is set to allow communication with Skype users. And, there are no blocked domains and the default "external access" settings is configured to "On except for blocked domains". Anyone know why this would be happening?60KViews0likes13CommentsChange User Number to Service Number
In S4B Online, is it possible to convert a user number into a service number? We are working on moving a client to S4B PSTN Calling and since AA isn't available yet, we are going to use Team Call Groups to handle the primary incoming line to the business. When AA is GA, we will want to change that number from a user number to a service number.50KViews2likes24CommentsSMS Texting through Skype for Business
We are looking for a solution to enhance communications and increase employee engagement through SMS text messaging. Can we do this through Skype for Business? I've found info on paying for text messages for consumer Skype -- is there anything available through Office 365? Would like for specific individuals and groups (e.g., HR) to have permissions to send to other individuals or groups (e.g., all employees) without opening up (and paying for) text messages between everyone in the company. Similar to a product like http://www.textrecruit.com/texthr/. Anyone have information or experience to share? Thanks.42KViews2likes9CommentsWhat are the differences between skype for business standard and enterprise edition

I recently deployed a SRS V2 device and it will not auto launch SfB. Is there a way to achieve this without a reimage of the device? I should point out that everything is working fine. I just can't get it to auto launch SfB after the device is powered up and logins in to Windows 10.Solved25KViews1like27Comments"Network Unavailable"
I seem to have a strange issue. Really hard to search for this because the error being stated doesn't match what is going on. When I try to use Skype for business on my work computer it states "Network Unavailable". This is the only computer on the network that has this issue and the problem started after a power outage in the building. The computer has all network functionality except with Skype for Business. Things I've tried with no results: Restarted workstation Tried running the fix on Microsoft office (since Skype for Business is part of the package) Made sure the computer had all Group Policy Restarted the Skype for business server on local network. Made sure firewall settings were set properly and all services running. Not sure what could be causing the Skype for Business to say "Network Unavailable". Any and all help is appreciated.25KViews0likes6Commentsdisabling conversation history -S4B Online
We have always had conversation history and missed conversation logs to outlook turned off for our organization. Today users started complaining of conversations showing up in missed convos in outlook. I checked my client and sure enough the options were no longer greyed out. I would suggest others that enforce this double check. Noone in our org changed the policy. I reapplied the policy with the following powershell commands, but I would like to verify this process has not changed and these are the right commands. Import-Module LyncOnlineConnector $cred = Get-Credential $CSSession = New-CsOnlineSession -Credential $cred Import-PSSession $CSSession -AllowClobber Get-CsClientPolicy | Where-Object {$_.EnableIMAutoArchiving -eq $False -and $_.EnableCallLogArchiving -eq $false} Grant-CsClientPolicy -policyname tag:ClientPolicyNoSaveIMNoArchivingNoIMURL –Tenant xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxSolved21KViews3likes15CommentsSkype for Business and Server 2016
