The FPS display in the top-right corner of the desktop in Windows 11systems is not applicable.
The performance monitoring overlay window persistently displays an FPS warning in the top-right corner of the system desktop, even though the computer is functioning normally. How can I disable this display?
I don't want to update the Windows 11 system version.
The system frequently prompts for updates, and the pause option is grayed out and cannot be clicked. I heard that the new version will lose hard drive data, so I don't dare to upgrade it casually. Is there a reliable way to permanently disable updates?
Insider Program Switching channel
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out regarding an issue I am facing with my Windows Insider Program settings. By mistake, I switched my device to the Dev Channel, but I would like to return to the Beta Channel. I attempted to switch back to Beta and even recovered my system once to resolve the issue. However, after an update, my system reverted to the Dev Channel again. I do not require the Dev Channel and would prefer to stay on the Beta Channel. Unfortunately, I am unable to perform a clean installation of Windows, as my laptop contains private and critical data that I cannot risk losing. I kindly request your assistance in providing a solution to help me switch back to the Beta Channel without the need for a clean installation. I accidently uninstalled the IE Mode Option and I need to install it back but I can't find it
I was trying to Install Another Feature on Window 11, when I accidentally uninstalled the IE Mode Feature. Now, when I try to Install It, I can't see it anymore. Windows update using insecure and random IPs
Hi We are using windows 11 Pro for our business. Windows appears to be reaching out to random IP addresses using http which keeps tiggering out antivirus, its is not using a FQDN to do this. I just got a new Dell machine with Windows 11 Pro installed on it. I wanted use the machine with Virtual Machines as well as Windows Sandbox feature. When I enable Hyper-V feature, the reboot works fine. After than when I enable Windows Sandbox feature, it reboots and goes to a screen with “Customizing feature for you. You’re 100% there. Please keep your computer on.” And then freezes there. Dell says this is software issue and will have to pay for the support. I just got this machine and not so happy that I’m running into this. Only way for me to get out of this is reinstall the OS. I really need the Windows Sandbox feature. That is the main reason for buying a machine with Windows 11 Pro. Any help is appreciated. Working on a friends Samsung notebook, and I am going crazy,. Originally installed Win 10 home, factory reset. Upgraded home to Pro with a new key, got all of the updates possible. Installed Win 11 Pro from a USB drive, seemed to work fine. Went out and got all of the updates possible, running 25H2 I believe. Removed the fancy lock screen pic, went to a generic blue background. With all of that said, there are multiple occasions during login, that the keyboard does not work for entering the password, or it will take 1 character only, and then freeze. The mouse moves, but selecting anything to click on provides zero responses. When i do finally get logged in after multiple reboots, I try to go into Settings, Accounts, and select to change/remove the password. From there, it goes into what appears to be a continuous loop... Enter account sign in, confirm I am a parent (why is this even there?) and from there I can choose to send a code to the account email or to use the password to sign in... when I do either of these processes, it just loops back to asking the same thing over and over again. I also tried to setup a PIN, and again the same process repeats over and over. Checking Windows Update, and it tells me everything is current. Honestly about ready to find a hammer....
