119 Topics- Setup PSTN Conferencing in Microsoft TeamsMicrosoft just released Teams PSTN Conferencing service right before Microsoft Ignite. First of all, ensure that you assigned PSTN conferencing license(s) to user(s) Login to Teams Meetings > Schedule a Meeting http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/cfs-file.ashx/__key/communityserver-wikis-components-files/00-00-00-00-05/561745.1.png 4. Setup a new meeting, add attendees as follow. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/cfs-file.ashx/__key/communityserver-wikis-components-files/00-00-00-00-05/87273520.3.png For now, you cannot invite external users as attendees in Teams yet like you can in SFB Meeting Invite, I believe you can do that in soon future. So, if you need to invite external users, just copy the invite message and email them. Attendees received meeting invitation email as follow, http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/cfs-file.ashx/__key/communityserver-wikis-components-files/00-00-00-00-05/02500.4.png Meetings > click on meeting invite and Join button. I invited two users, one user is my internal user who received the invite email, I manually copy the invitation email and send to the other user, who will join the meeting using his mobile/phone; both joined the meeting, you will see a user is using his mobile number to join and while my internal users use teams client to join. The external user called +6531570124 (Toll) number to join the PSTN conferencing. It's surprising to take note that I cannot join Teams meeting using my SFB client though I can see the invite in my SFB client's meeting calendar, when I click the meeting link, it brings me to either use web browser or use Teams client. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/cfs-file.ashx/__key/communityserver-wikis-components-files/00-00-00-00-05/56804.5.png It’s also noted that I cannot invite external users and dial telephone number -- yet. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/cfs-file.ashx/__key/communityserver-wikis-components-files/00-00-00-00-05/4621.6.png107KViews2likes2Comments

- Can't Create a Skype Meeting In Outlook 365 CalendarOur firm uses the Office 365 Enterprise E1 software suite and we wanted to start utilizing Skype For Business. unfortunately I discovered that I can't create meetings in the Outlook calender. The IM and presence functionality works fine. We have no on-site infrastructure and are fully cloud based. Am I missing a setting? Please ask any question that can help formulate your answer.40KViews0likes3Comments
- Advanced setup of polls in a Skype for Business meetingHi, Can anyone point to documentation that speaks to how far in advance someone could setup a poll in a meeting? I see documentation on the contentment retention after a meeting, but nothing that states how far in advance you can preload content. I have a customer that wants to load up a poll in a meeting so it is ready for her when the meeting starts. Thanks in advance. Joe Cistaro26KViews0likes8Comments
- Call Me At not workingPreviously my organization relied on the call me at feature for our E3 users that did not have a headset/microphone to join meetings with. We tried to use this feature today and it no longer works. From what I am reading you now want us to purchase an E5 license for this feature. When did this change? Were notifications sent out? This was working for us less than 2 months ago. Lana O'Brien22KViews1like11Comments
- Join Zoom meeting from Skype Room System v2Hi there, Trying to join a Zoom meeting from Skype Room System V2. We can join the meeting using the SfB client or on a Polycom Trio signed in with a skype account. We do so by dialing: 4105555555@lync.zoom.us However, on SRS v2 the dial pad only supports numeric input. Is this something we can enable, or that might be available in future updates?Solved22KViews0likes12Comments
- Unable to record audio in Skype Meeting. We're testing out the office 365 "Audio Conferencing" Skype license. I've assigned one to myself and am able to generate Skype Meeting in outlook. When I start a meeting and tell it to call me for audio (instead of using the PC for audio) i'm unable to record the audio. When I hit record, the message displays "Audio won't be recorded as it's not enabled on this device". When I playback the recording, anything I shared from my desktop shows fine, just no audio. If I tell it to use my PC for audio, recording works fine. Playback has all audio fine.12KViews0likes7Comments
- external user friendly Skype connectivity testingFor an SfB on premise deployment, we are looking for a way for external SfB meeting participants to verify either their SfB client or the web app is configured correctly and is going to provide proper connectivity to upcoming meetings. A good solution would potentially show green check marks next to audio, video and application sharing modalities, or a red 'x' with tips when there are issues found. I wonder if the Audio Test Service has an external facing component that could be somehow utilized in this manner? There used to be a hospital that had a web page like this, so I know it's possible, but I can no longer find that page to give as an example. WebEx has something like this - https://www.webex.com/test-meeting.html# , hoping there can be a solution for SfB as well.12KViews0likes6Comments
- PSTN calls drop with-in 15 - 30 mins with Audiocodes SBCHi Community, Recently, I have come across a scenario worth sharing. PSTN calls drops after 15 mins or 30 mins with Audio Codes SBC or Gateway. This can be related or occur due to numerous reason, however if everything is in place (Network to Configuration) and still the call fails, then you can try the below and if it makes the difference. User makes PSTN call > the flow and connectivity is established > after 15 or 30 mins you see BYE message generated resulting in call drop. changing/modifying the "RTCPActiveCalls" and "EnableSessionTimer" may help or simple does't make any difference. Upon isolation, found that issue is mostly triggered due to a setting in Audio Codes S.B.C "Reset SRTP Upon Re-Key" is enabled (usually disabled by default) By going in to the IP profiles > disabling the setting in AudioCodes the issue was resolved and calls no longer were dropped. P.S - This solution may or may not help you (no harm in trying), But its best recommended to contact support and take assistance if needed 🙂11KViews0likes3Comments
