external user friendly Skype connectivity testing
For an SfB on premise deployment, we are looking for a way for external SfB meeting participants to verify either their SfB client or the web app is configured correctly and is going to provide proper connectivity to upcoming meetings. A good solution would potentially show green check marks next to audio, video and application sharing modalities, or a red 'x' with tips when there are issues found.
I wonder if the Audio Test Service has an external facing component that could be somehow utilized in this manner?
There used to be a hospital that had a web page like this, so I know it's possible, but I can no longer find that page to give as an example. WebEx has something like this - https://www.webex.com/test-meeting.html# , hoping there can be a solution for SfB as well.

So for me the easiest way would be if you create a user with a percistent meeting ID, then edit the default meeting invitation text for your users to containt something like this:
"To test if your computer is ready to join a Skype for Business meeting, try opening our test meeting Link."Then add one link for Skype for Business web application test meeting and one for Skype for Business Client test meeting.
I know you can do some basic invite editing out of the box, but this one from Modality Systems looks good:

That page from the University of Iowa is great! It's not quite what I was looking for, but it's a good idea starter.

Wonder if you could create an alias for the Audio Test Service. When I search for it in my Mac client I also see the RtcApplication-(a load of numbers). Wonder if you can find that user in PowerShell and give it a sip alias for external users can dial it?
It is possible with another application, I guess something like this would be good but it's not just the test call service, it's a whole platform. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWVMgCaVNMs
