when I copy outlook calendar events to SharePoint calendar it changes all names adding "copy" at the beginning of each event I want to remove it or copy without this "copy "at the first I followed the below steps : 1- Open your SharePoint online site 2- Open the Calendar and click "Calendar" tab at the top left corner. 3- Click "Connect to Outlook". Then it will ask for confirmation, click "Yes". 4- Open your Outlook calendar 5- Click "View" tab at top > "change view " tab > choose "List" 6- select your required calendar that you want to import it 7- change it again to list view > select all + copy 8- select the SharePoint online calendar inside the outlook 9- change the view to list view > paste
I got that i will have Read permission on the sharepoint Calendar list when connecting it to outlook
I have a SharePoint Classic Team site inside Sharepoint online. and inside the team site i have added a calendar list, and i have full control on the SharePoint site and the calendar. now i click on "Connect to outlook", to connect the sharepoint calendar with outlook, as follow:-then inside the dialog which i got >> i click on Advance >> where i got that i will have Read permission on the list, as follow:-so what does Read permission refer to? as i have Full Control permission on the sharepoint calendar list and on the sharepoint site (i am the site collection admin)?
