On the grades app, I can filter by date range, and by grading category. I have the need to filter by TAG (I co-teach a class with a colleague, we use categories for TYPE of assignment, and tags to mark WHICH of us is associated with the assignment.... and I'd like to filter this). Hopefully, it should be an uncontentious tweak to make!201Views0likes0CommentsTeams feedback
When marking an assignment in teams - the pupils get a feedback notification. The mark and comment need to be more prominent - they're there - but not at all obvious, and I end up with some resubmitting work that was totally fine, just because they think its the original assignment that they forgot to submit! So 1) Make the feedback more MORE obvious 2) If not 'returned for revision', warn the student if they 'hand in again'. Ideally, let me set by default that 'returned' work should have that button removed. 3) If 'returned for revision' let me record the first, and revised marks in 'grades'.755Views0likes1CommentReading Progress in Microsoft Teams to improve student reading fluency - now rolled out globally!

Hi, I have a Professor that posed this question: If I add a student to a Team before the course starts and then the student drops the course, I can drop the student from the Team, but their name still appears on on the assignment lists. Is there a way to delete the names from the assignment lists? Researching this question brought up a couple of solutions After Professor removes student from Teams class, 'Quit' Teams. Restart. I am waiting to hear the result After Professor removes student from Teams class, have the Admin check to ensure that the Group (class) has been removed from the students M365 account. Is there a definitive way for the Professor to remove the student's name from the Assignments list? (without requiring the help of an Admin) Thanks Che2.4KViews0likes1CommentStudents viewing feedback before teacher hits "return"
Hi I have just tested the functionality and as some other people have identified, students can view feedback as and when teachers add comments or highlight the attached documents in an assignment. As a teacher, there are times when this is okay, but other times when it would make Teams unsuitable. When students submit exams or coursework teachers need the ability to edit and provide feedback within the document (by adding comments, or highlighting) in draft mode, before it is visible to the students. Since this has been an identified issue since 2018, as far as I can see from previous comments, I was hoping that there is a workaround or a setting that can be applied to achieve this. Please confirm. Best wishes, Gareth2.8KViews1like5CommentsBug?? Sharing teams Assignment posts
Hi guys Has anyone come across a bug when sharing an Assignment post (ie a post that is created by the assignments bot when an assignment is created) using the "Share to Outlook function" a message is generated in the body of the email with text and a link as follows "Card - access it on https://go.skype.com/cards.unsupported." Any ideas what is causing this? The link is not entered by the user manually or taken by teams from the instructions or any attachments in the Assignment. What is strange this is not happening every time, only certain posts cause this bug. Appreciate your input. Thanks Michal1KViews1like0CommentsScheduled assignments not being released
I created all the assignments for my class at the start of term, and set release dates for each one to be 2 weeks prior to the due date. Students report they prefer this to having to sift through all of the term's assignments showing at once. This worked fine for my summer course, and for the first part of fall term. However, as of November the assignments have not been auto-releasing on their scheduled dates. I confirmed I got the day and year correct; when I go to edit the assignments, Teams appears to think the release date is still in the future, as it says "Assignment is scheduled to post on..." even when that date has passed. Has anyone else experienced this, and found a workaround? The obvious workaround is not to pre-schedule things, but it would be nice if this feature worked, consistently.1.1KViews0likes1CommentTeams vs Forms issues
Due to my own error today when giving a class a short test I have created a problem. After setting an assignment and most of the class joining successfully I found that two of the students could not access it fully (for some reason it refused to load the required images in the quiz form). To allow them to take the test I copied the link from the Forms page where it was pulling it from. They successfully managed to load this and completed the test. However (see where this is going...), their results now don't show in the Assignments tracker despite it being the same test linked through. How can I add their results into my Assignment tracker for that class? Thanks Matt769Views0likes0Comments
