Sections distributed in Onenote are not seen in Teams
It seems to me that if a section is distributed using Onenote, not Onenote for Windows 10, it doesn't appear as a possible section to distribute a page related to an assignment in Teams. Previous sections distributed using Onenote for Windows 10 are all available. Bug or feature?
Turn off Assignment notifications for teachers
We have made one team per class of students with teachers as owners of the team, as per our country's policy. Problem is that there doesn't seem to be a way to set it so that Teachers don't get pinged every time some assingment is given to all of the pupils. It seems that the ping comes from the program automatically pinging the whole team which is bad. This also means we can't just turn off in notifications this type of event, because most still want to get notifications when a person mentions them, rather than a headless program. So is there a way for teachers on android and ios phones not to be notified about assignments that other teachers make?
Due Dates for Assignments (school's edition)
I'm not sure if I landed in the right place, but I have a suggestion to make. As a user of Teams in a school, I experienced lots of people forgetting to hand in assignments because they disappear in the deep of the assignments tool and absolutely no one thinks about it. I had the idea that there should be an option to enable notification for Assignments to be handed in by the time teachers ask and request the students to hand them in. Also calendar integration (in the Teams and Outlook-calendar, as a reminder). Example: French-teacher assigns a reading-task via the assignments tool and sets the due date for Wednesday, July 1st at 6pm. The assignment arrives to the students and it automatically goes into the calendar of the students. It automatically creates an appointment on that day at 6pm (due date) and sets the reminder one day before. So, on June 29, the student gets a notification like this: "Hey /Brian/, you have an assignment "Reading" for French class due tomorrow. Don't forget!" Would that be possible?
Microsoft Teams - A like file already exists
My school is using Teams for home learning. It is working well except that when they try to up work into assignments. Often students receive a message saying "a like file already exists" when they are uploading photos of their work. Any idea why this is happening? Is it the file name that needs changing? So since a few days there's this new filtering per course for assignements! The old SHOW-ALL-UPCOMMING view made more sense to me. why would I need another way to do the same thing as, go to the course and click on assignements? There is even one more click and basically looks like a deleted feature to me. It would make sense, if you could choose more then one course! So you could filter for what ever reason... Please help me! Thx
