Hi My Teams "Apps" button at the left bottom corner of the app itself has disappeared from both desktop and web clients and I can't browse or install new apps anymore. I would appreciate your help on this!Solved8.3KViews0likes3CommentsFull Screen not working correctly with Power BI app
I have attempted a few times recently to use full screen to display dashboards created in the Power BI app on the Teams desktop client. Entering full screen mode works perfectly, but once in full screen, there is no option available to leave this mode. Hitting the Esc key will shrink the window to show the Taskbar, but the window will remain borderless and it will be entirely filled by the dashboard. This leaves me unable to leave the Power BI dashboard and go back to view chats, teams, my calendar, etc. The only way I've found to get back to view other areas is to right-click on the teams tab in my Taskbar and click "New Chat," which will take me back to view all of my chats as normal. Other people at my company trying to view the same dashboards are having the same issue. This doesn't feel like something that was intended, but I can't find any information on this issue or how to resolve it anywhere. Am I just missing the button to leave full screen somewhere? If anyone knows of an intended way to change the view back to windowed correctly, it would be greatly appreciated.5.6KViews3likes5CommentsCannot add custom app to the Teams Sidebar in Teams
Hello everyone, I’d like to thank you in advance for your replies and assistance. I ready do greatly appreciate it. I have an issue when trying to add an app within Teams. Inside Microsoft Teams, in the Teams sidebar on the left, there are the 3 dots which allow a user to add more apps within Teams. When clicking these dots and adding for example the Microsoft Forms app, I search for the app, it shows up, I choose it, and then there’s an “Add” button (with its own drop-down menu) where I then have the option to add it to either a team, a chart, or a meeting. The problem I run into is that when trying to add a custom App (an app/SharePoint hub site that was built for our organization) within Teams, I search for the app, it is found, I click it, but now there is no “Add” button. The custom app is not blocked (allowed) in the Microsoft Teams Admin Center, and employees could previously add this app within Teams and pin it to the Teams sidebar without a problem. But that is no longer possible since the Add button is gone. In the Org-Setting the third party apps are allowed and custom apps are also allowed and not blocked. Any idea? Thx a Million.5.2KViews0likes1CommentUnable to add the Microsoft Project app to my Teams site. Get error message
I have tried at different times in the past 3 weeks, to add 'Project' to my teams site. Every time the same error prevents the installation. I am using the free version and it happens both in the TEAMS app on windows, as well in Chrome online version. What can I do? Something went wrong. Please try again. Hello, My team and I built many custom apps for our company but our objective now is only made a desktop version of these applications, we are not interested in work at a responsive version for them. So we want to show our applications only for users that are accessing MSTeams app from a Desktop or even a tablet but not cellphones, is that possible? How can we make this work? Have a nice week and thank you all.Solved3.1KViews0likes2CommentsShare a link to an app in Teams sidebar
Hey, does anyone know how to provide a link to an app in the sidebar? I'm looking specifically for Viva Learning but I figure there should be a way to do it for any app? The user should be able to click the link and it opens Teams and the desired app. This is for apps in a user's sidebar, not an app in a channel. Cheers!Solved3KViews0likes3CommentsHow do I integrate an already created wiki into a custom tab within a personal app?
Hello! I am currently trying to implement a wiki already created in a team into a personal app. The wiki consists of several .mht files, which are automatically sorted into a tree structure by the wiki tab and stored in the teams sharepoint. I have access to all files and now I want to integrate them into a custom tab (in a personal app) in the style of the wiki tab (as within teams). Unfortunately, as far as I know, only URLs can be included as custom tabs within Visual Studio code. If I specify the link to a .mht file, it cannot be displayed. If I link the folder with all .mht files, they are only displayed to me as a list in the sharepoint and not with the desired tree structure. What are the possibilities to call the wiki page with the tree structure as URL? Many greetings and thanks in advance Here are a few pictures to explain the problem2.8KViews0likes1Comment
