Hi, We use the "approvals" app in Teams to coordinate leave with colleagues and managers. The app works, but we still have to manually place the approved leave request in a shared mailbox. Is there a solution within the app "approvals" or via PowerAutomate to make this happen automatically? RC432Views0likes1CommentTeams Approvals from ex-employees
Hi, We have had an employee leave who used to be in charge of sending out the Approvals requests, now when looking at the Approvals that have been 'approved' and which were initially sent by this employee we can no longer open any attachments included within those Approval requests as it says that we do not have authorisation - this is only happening with the requests from this mentioned employee. Is there a way of viewing these old attachments?507Views0likes1CommentCan we amend Approvals flows or structure in Teams?
Our Marketing Team is experimenting with using Approvals in Teams for Media releases. Example: Draft media statement must go first to the business unit to approve content. Person 1 After that approval, it must go to the General Manager. Person 2 After that approval, it must go to the CEO. Person 3 After that approval, the media statement is then sent onto the Media. They have tried to setup a conditional approval whereby it must go to person 1 and then person 2 and then person 3. However, they do not want person 2 or 3 to see the draft before it is approved by person 1 - and also, person 3 should not see the draft before it is approved by person 2 There does not seem to be a way to tweak the default approval template / form. They tried creating their own template but the workflow does not allow for hiding the file from person 2 or 3. We looked at Power Automate templates and also tried to create our own Power Automate flow but we how no "Power" knowledge. Does anybody know of a way we can ensure the Approval stays inside Teams but also be able to tweak the underlying flows in the approvals? Thanks567Views0likes0CommentsIs Approvals supposed to work? ("We’re still setting up Approvals for your organization")
I manage a tenant trying to use Approvals, but so far nobody has managed to create a request. In a chat, in a team, using the Approvals app - nothing. The Approvals app from within MS Teams shows no error, but after clicking on "Create", the request is not in the Sent list and has basically been lost. Creating a request from within a chat or a teams creates a card, which then falls back to the message "We’re still setting up Approvals for your organization. Try again in a few minutes.". Needless to say, it's been more than a few minutes. How long does it need?Solved3.1KViews0likes3CommentsAttached file gone through the Approvals app can be changed/deleted
Hi everyone, I am attracted by the Approvals app. However, through testing I found 2 issues: 1. the attached file gone through the Approvals app can be changed or deleted. Furthermore, even the attached file changed/deleted, the "approved" indicator is still there! This is unacceptable for an approval flow. Wonder how did you configure to get rid of this issue? 2. How do the Administrator consolidate all approvals to a repository for reference after that, and for audit purpose? particularly when the requestor and approver resigned from the organization (user were deleted)? Hello, I noticed that the Approvals app within Microsoft Teams has been gone since yesterday. The app was suddenly uninstalled, and I and my colleagues haven't been able to search for the app. Does anyone know why? Thanks in advance. Hi all, our Finance team has been making good use of the Approvals feature, but we can't figure out why some users are getting the full date / time stamp and others are seeing how long ago the approval was posted instead. They all need to have view of the date / time stamp. I've been trying to figure out why this is happening, but I'm coming up empty. Can anyone shed any light?
