Hi, we are having an issue with the Teams Meeting Addon in conjunction with the Preview Client. In case the preview client is activated, we are no longer able to create Teams appointments. The meeting is blank, no error message no additional information. To fix this we have to switch back to the classic view. Restart everything, ensure the latest version or re-register the AddOn didn´t fix it. Does anyone else have this kind of issue ? ublock origin on Microsoft's new Addons store: (Version 1.23.0 - Updated November 29, 2019) ublock origin on Google's Chrome extension store: (Version 1.24.4 - Updated February 6, 2020) ublock origin on Firefox's Addons store: (Version 1.25.0 - Updated Feb 19, 2020) Fact #1: Firefox has the most recent and newest features Fact #2: in November 29 2019, Microsoft wasn't even accepting extensions/addons submissions in their new store. this article was posted December 16 sayings: "Starting today, the Microsoft Edge Addons store is now open for submissions for all developers. " Fact #3: in Firefox and Google Chrome, ublock origin is added by its original author, Raymond Hill, but in Microsoft's Addons store, it's added by someone named "Nik Rolls" ! which according to his Github page, forked ublock origin! and posted it in Microsoft Addons store and now people think it's the same original one. so why all of these happened? can someone from Microsoft please do something about these? Thanks in advanceSolved6.9KViews4likes4Commentsgoogle is incompetent
so I only went to chrome extension store to find an extension for Edge and I keep getting fake message clicking on the X mark on the banner just temporarily remove it, when I go to the next page or refresh the page, it appears again! they Intentionally do this to have a spammy effect. because normally these things have memory and remember the user's action when they close a banner. google only shows this to Edge users, other Chromium based browsers like Opera and Vivaldi don't get these messages. this behavior shows how scared google is of Edge. and it's also super annoying. I really hope Microsoft's Addons store gets a big portion of the extensions in there so I won't need to ever visit that website again. unfortunately element zapper in ublock origin doesn't work in extension/addons stores so I can't use it to hide that thing. my only hope is Microsoft doing this. thanks like other members here suggested, I really think Microsoft should deal with it through the tracking prevention and built in adblocker in Edge.Solved3.7KViews6likes6CommentsMicrosoft is now accepting submissions for Edge Chromium extensions
[Quote] Starting today, the Microsoft Edge Addons store is now open for submissions for all developers. This is where users will find your extensions for the new Microsoft Edge. You can submit your extensions today by visiting the Partner Center Developer Dashboard. In most cases, existing extensions built for Chromium will work without any modifications in the new Microsoft Edge. Check out our developer documentation to learn more about Microsoft Edge-specific APIs, tips on submitting your extension, and other helpful information. The extension submission program is in its preview phase and we are excited to hear and incorporate your feedback. Transitioning your existing extensions to Chromium As we move towards the general availability of the new Microsoft Edge on January 15th, 2020, we will no longer accept new submissions for Microsoft Edge Legacy (EdgeHTML-based) extensions after December 17th, 2019. We will continue to accept updates for your existing extensions. We recommend you prioritize building new extensions for the new Chromium-based Microsoft Edge, and continue to support your existing EdgeHTML-based extensions to ensure a quality experience for active users. Developers who have given consent for Microsoft to migrate their EdgeHTML extension listings to the new Microsoft Edge should begin to see their extensions available in the new Addons store experience in Microsoft Edge. If you publish an EdgeHTML extension and have not received any communication regarding its migration or are unsure of its status, please contact us at ExtensionPartnerOps@microsoft.com. If you have already received a confirmation from us regarding migration, we encourage you to log on to the Partner Center Developer Dashboard to validate your access to the extension, and verify whether you can update it. Once the migration is complete, ownership and management will be completely transferred to you, and Microsoft will not be responsible for updating or maintaining your extension. Migrating extension users to the new Microsoft Edge We will migrate users’ extensions from the current version of Microsoft Edge when they update to the new Microsoft Edge (starting January 15th). Extensions will only be migrated for users if they are already available on the Microsoft Edge Addons store at the time of switching to the new browser. We recommend that developers update your existing EdgeHTML extensions for Chromium and publish them via the new portal as soon as possible, so your existing customers will not face any interruptions when they update to the new Microsoft Edge. Getting started You can check out our initial developer documentation today, and expect to see more coming soon. If you have any additional questions about the extension submission process, please contact Microsoft Edge Addons Developer Support. It’s a great time to build for the web, and we look forward to collaborating with you on our new browser! [unquote] Source on Windows Blog1KViews0likes0Comments
