Teams Meeting invite (RSVP) not showing other meetings
We are working with Microsoft for some time (>100 days) on an issue regarding meeting invites in Teams, where the first time opening such an invite it is not showing conflicting or adjacent meetings. This can easily result in people getting "double booked" because they trust what Teams shows them. We can reproduce this anytime and in at least 3 tenants and I would like to know if other users/tenants recognize this. Some things to take into account: You shouldn't have opened the week this meeting is scheduled in earlier today, as it probably some sort of caching mechanism/issue. It only happens the first time you click on the RSVP option in teams. We tested with/without MCAS, same result. It also happens in a Teams browser session. How to reproduce: Send an invite for a meeting, to happen in e.g. 4 weeks, make sure there are conflicting/adjacent at that timespan. Wait for the invite to appear in the Teams activity (do not check it in Outlook, as that will make the test fail). When you click in the Teams on the invite, click on the RSVP option and check what you see (calendar is free it seems): Click the X to close this RSVP popup and click the RSVP again (now the other meetings are shown): I am really curious if other users can reproduce this.... New Teams Version Approvals Not In Channels
In the latest version you can no longer request an approval in a channel. Instead you need to go to the Approvals section in the side bar, then you can make a general approval request. Is it going to be added back into discussion channels at some point? The current button for Approvals in the channel + button just brings up a search bar that doesn't seem to work.How to silence the activity feed?
How do I silence the activity feed in Teams? It provides nothing of value, but I can't find a way to get it stop notifying me of pointless things, like someone giving a thumbs up to a post somewhere. It's doubly useless because the activity feed keeps pretending there's something I should know about even if I've obviously already seen whatever it wants to tell me about. So if someone puts a reaction on a message in a chat with me, I have to open the activity feed to get the stupid thing to stop pretending there's some activity about which I need to know. Since it's clearly broken, I need a way to get it to leave me alone. But I can't find a way to get just the activity feed to be quiet.Music Status change based on Spotify/YouTube Music etc.
Is there anything about changing Microsoft Teams' status to "Listening to X" based on what we are currently listening to on Spotify or YouTube Music etc ? Or is there any development about this currently? It would be cool like back in old MSN days 😄
MS team room : Teams is currently experiencing an error
Our Microsoft team room update to window 11 IOT version. And some of the room show the error "Teams is currently experiencing an error. If the problem persists, please try restarting your device or talk to your administrator". It need to restart two times to resolve the issue. This is the first time we see this error, and have no such information can be search. Hi, i'm using the new teams app for University and Personal Stuff. If i log-in my first account logged is the university account and, if i want to switch it's like a new teams page is open letting ALSO the previous opened. If i go to close the previous account window, all teams service will be closed, closing also the one i want to stay opened. It is simply horrible. Please just improved the account switcher system making a true switch from account to account letting just an instance opened. Thank you!
