WS2025 Preview (26100.1) fails to boot after joining WS2016 forest
I installed WS2025 Preview (Datacenter, 26100.1) in a virtual machine and after joining the domain, the box is rendered unbootable (boot loops). I can reinstall and do other tasks as a standalone server with no problem but joining the domain immediately bricks the VM, 100% of the time. The forest is running at functional level WS2016. I disabled all GPs and verified with gpresult they are not applied. Safe mode boots if you need me to poke around. Am working to get a kernel debugger attached. No memory dump is generated and disabling reboot on errors yields nothing.
Windows server 2025 Forest and Domain functional levels.
As many will no doubt have noticed, there is a 2025 forest and domain functional level introduced in build 25941. The schema updates suggest these are delegated managed service accounts (dMSA) and 32k pagesize for the active directory database. Is there any documentation on these?

Bonjour, Je suis sur cette configuration : Un Windows server 2022 avec HyperV sur lequel sont installées 2 VM en Windows server 2022, l'une pour les rôles AD, ADCS, DNS, DHCP ... et une autre pour le rôle RDS, IIS, ... Tout fonctionnait parfaitement jusqu’à aujourd'hui, mais suite à une coupure de courant, lors d'une tentative de connexion au serveur RDS via la connexion bureau à distance je recois l'erreur suivante : Une erreur interne s'est produite Code erreur : 0x4 Code erreur étendue : 0x0 Please Get-Help ! 🙂
How do i setup AD site links and Cost
Hi AD Guys, France Branch office DC died and We have set the London DNS on France DHCP scopes. users are accessing the AWS file servers but very slowly. What is the best way to configure that site link for better access? Do I need to create a new link to France—AWS? or has nothing to do with AD?
Azure Active Directory Domain Services DNS - DNS & Child Zone Object Issue
This is regarding the ticket number : 2112220050001240 The child zone which is created gets disabled when DNS zone with same name is created WITHOUT any notification. This looks like product flaw which needs fixing. There should be some sort of notification end customer should get stating creating new DNS zone with existing child dns zone will disable/delete previous entries. Because of this we have P1 for multiple applications across our state.
