Hello, I wanted to update you on the issues we are facing after cleaning Classic Teams. Older versions of Teams are still appearing in the registry for other user profiles and are being flagged as vulnerable in 365 Defender, specifically in the HKEY_USERS registry path for others users. For example, as evidence from the Defender portal, here are some entries indicating software issues: - Endpoint Name: TestPC - Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Teams - HKEY_USERS\user1\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Teams - HKEY_USERS\user2\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Teams - HKEY_USERS\user3\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Teams We attempted to remove the registry entries from other user profiles to clean up the Classic Teams presence by using the following commands: powershell " reg load "hku\$user" "C:\Users\$user\NTUSER.DAT" " Test-Path -Path Registry::HKEY_USERS\$hiveName\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Teams " For checking the registry presence, we used the detection and remediation method in Intune for cleaning Classic Teams. I ran the detection script on only three PCs for testing. Surprisingly, we received a warning from Sentinel about "User and group membership reconnaissance (SAMR) on one endpoint," indicating a potential security incident involving suspicious SAMR (Security Account Manager Remote) queries. This was detected for admin accounts, DC, and also for an account belonging to someone who left the organization five years ago (ABC Admin). I am looking for appreciate your guidance on the best practices for detecting and removing Classic Teams leftovers in the registry for other user profiles. Best Practice: - How to detect and remove Classic Teams registry entries for other user profiles in the system. - Best method? Using the Hive to load another user profile into the registry and remove the Classic Teams registry entries. Hi, We are giving chat options in Teams through a custom Tab app. Whenever i get new message in my Tab app, I would like to display the number of unread messages as a badge on the icon of the Tab app, just like the unread count in a Team channel, so the user doens't have to actively check the page, but is informed of new things to do through the badge. I can't find a method on how to make this possible. Anyone can help me out? Is it even possible for a custom tab app?5.8KViews0likes3CommentsForwarding calls option not showing on SIP Teams Phone after update
I have updated few SIP Phones and after that the option Calling - Call Forwarding on the phone doesn't show anymore. For that to work I have to go to settings - admin - put the admin password and then it will show the option to forward calls which is not the proper way to do it as the users shouldn't have the admin password for the Teams Phone. It should be similar to the image bellow. I have different models of phones here, and all of them once updated presents the same option missing, meaning the error is on the Teams version. That would be a hassle to downgrade all the versions just to obtain this option back. Any ideas?1.7KViews0likes1CommentOneNote in Teams Won't Open

I tried opening OneNote the app and all the notes I've made are not showing. It just gives me the option to make a new notes.13KViews0likes1CommentAudio Codes Distributed Direct routing Architect strategy
Hi Community, I would like to discuss about the design and architect behind setting up distributed DR SBC. Plan: A Central DR in a APAC region, all other APAC PSTN sites will be setup as DR SBC itself on TEAMS. LMO and media by pass will be setup on remote site DR SBC. How do you plan to setup this architect? Is it required to setup trunk between Central DR and Remote site DR SBC for call flows to other remote sites? or Will call from remote Singapore DR goes to MS TEAMS and then via Central DR SBC reaches to remote Japan DR SBC site? Signaling and RTP for remote sites will be directly between remote DR SBC and MS TEAMS tenant, not via Central SBC if remote site DR SBC will have public IP. What if remote site DR SBC wont have Public IP? How RTP will flow for internal and external callers? Please share your thoughts in case any inputs or thought for this architect.
