Word table "new experience"

Operations on tables do not cause the document view to refresh (I mean the application "body" window simply does not reflect changes).

I cannot interact with the table nor see the effects of my operation, because the not-fresh rendered document state is no longer there, I just see the old way, and so cannot continue work.

For example: convert text to table, with multi-page table,

or column width changes done with dragging the ruler controls;

Each time, I need to hit page up / page down, or home / end keyboard buttons to get the document view to refresh. 

I'm using: Microsoft® Word for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2202 Build 16.0.14931.20128) 64-bit

When you have to force a refresh of the screen by pressing Page Up and Page Down, the underlying cause is usually the video driver. Go to the computer manufacturer's web site and look for an updated driver.
