Word right click not responding

I just purchased a new HP 2-1 laptop that I'm running Windows 11 Pro and Office 365. All of my updates are current. In the past, on other computers, when I've been working in Word and the grammar or spell check detect that a word is not correct, I have been able to right click the word and I get a popup box telling me what my issue is an suggests a correction. On the new computer I have to right click multiple times to get the popup box.

In doing some research I someone indicated that the issue might be with 1Password, I use the product but there is no add-in for it. Another suggestion is to replace the Normal file which I did with no change.

What is interesting is that I type this discussion the right click option works fine.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I forgot to include another symptom, when I Control 'C' information and try to paste it into a Word document, Control 'V' works fine but right clicking requires multiple clicks.

In the Windows Search facility, type Control Panel and then click on the Control Panel App and then on the Uninstall a Program under Programs and in the next screen that appears, select the Microsoft 365 Apps and then click on Change, then in the User Account Control dialog, click on Yes and in the next screen asking how would you like to repair your Microsoft 365 and Office program, select the Online Repair option.

Doug, thanks for the quick response. This seems to have made the issue less severe in that I don't have to click as many times to get the popup, but it is still happening. Now I click 2-3 times instead of 4-5 times.
