Word opening multiple instances of the same file
When I open a file I get anywhere between 5-10 windows of the same file opening at the same time.

What happens if you start Word in safe mode?

When I open Word in Safe Mode, no other files open. I opened some of the files that were opening multiple windows in safe mode and It didn't open multiple files. I closed all windows from the task bar and reopened the app again and didn't see the multiple windows. I also did the same thing in the regular mode and it did the same. So it seems that opening safe mode may have helped. One thing I noticed different was when I logged into my PC I noticed Onedrive was making me login again on my desktop app.

Running it in safe mode seems to work. I closed it out and opened it back up in regular mode and I'm not seeing the issue
Is this true of all files? A particular file?
Are you using the desktop application or the lesser online or mobile apps?
How are you opening the file?
Its happening for all files. Its happening on the desktop applications. It's also opening last used files before I closed the app. It happens when I open the program from my task bar and start menu.
