Word Navigation Pane wildcards

Searching with wildcards in the Navigation Pane freezes MS Word (only poss. is killing Word), e.g. with the string: [, ]@son[ s]@of   For example: search for texts with the string xxxx, son of yy...

O, I found that {1;} instead of @ works: the search doesn't go on indefinitely then.  Cornell-T
